Package saves you money for sure! Do the math...The 1100 is a very powerful LED lamp. With all three channels at full power glasses are a must. Lamp puts out 800W so keep that in mind, more when the UVB bulbs are running.The controller takes a bit to get comfortable with. Watch all the controller videos on YouTube by the manufacture and you will learn how to setup the controller. Controller has a micro USB port so you can update the firmware as needed. Very functional controller with really cool programing features and strategies. You can control the three channels/colors independently per program. So you can make a veg, flowering and finishing programs with different blends of light. Also you can change the ratio of light pragmatically throughout the day. If you wanted you could program the lamp to mimic sunrise, full sun, sunset or even dusk to trigger the plants to switch to night time metabolism quickly. The sunrise/sunset feature is really cool. Instead of turning the lights on to 100% light a normal timer you can have the LED lamp ramp for the duration of the sunrise/sunset timer from zero to 100% of each setpoint or each color. Who wants to wakeup from darkness to full sunlight!?You definitely need all 4 adjustable hangers to hang this lamp safely its quite heavy being that the main frame is an aluminum extrusion that also acts as the main heat sink. The extrusion profile includes thin fins which increase the surface area of for efficient heat dissipation. There are four very quiet fans the push air through the fins of the heat sink/frame. Really cool design!Expensive package but should see a 40% reduction in electricity, and you don't have to buy bulbs twice a year. Lamp has a rateted lifespan of 50,000 hours. 20hrs per day for 365 days, lamp should last nearly 7 years.UVB Lamps shipped in a separate box which wasn't indicated in the tracking that was worrisome but the UVB lamps arrived a day later... Also you'll have to sign for this package so be around when it arrives. That would have been annoying to wait to connect later with FedEx...

I have to change this review due to controller not working. I called and spoke to these folks and I tried to email multiple times without success. They said they’d call back in April, but even calling them and leaving emails I haven’t heard back. It’s now July 17th 2020.I was told i had to update the controller. So I did. Then I was told it’s most likely the light itself. Haven’t heard back since.I wish I could return this and go back to the Kind LED’s. Horrible customer service. I was a huge fan until customer service left me hanging for months now. Crop had died to the controller and system not working together and lost tons of money with electricity since they ran for 24 hours due to whatever issue is going on.I would highly recommend going with Kind LED. I bought their light and when I had an issue like this(built in timer, rather than standalone), they completely replaced the light no questions asked and requested I send the old light back in the packaging. Also, when my 3 year old light recently burned out, they asked me to pay for shipping to return the old light, but in the packaging they sent, they also gave me a refurbished version my light which burned out.Again horrible customer service I’d likely never buy another product from these guys unless they sel their company to someone who knows customer service.

Incredible LED grow light!! Replaced all of my KIND lights with these & observed an amazing increase in quality of the grow through all life cycle stages. Light was also much much more reliable - no more sporadic issues with light performance like the KIND lights. Way easier to program & manage - your whole grow can be placed on auto pilot with regards to lighting as you can program all stages of the life cycle & will transition automatically!!! Saves time, frustration & you get a better grow!!! Can’t say enough about the performance of these lights.
