The HoverAir X1 ProMax has completely changed the way I capture family memories, hands-free launch and auto-follow mean I can finally be in the moment instead of just behind the camera. The footage of my kids running, biking or celebrating special moments is smooth, cinematic and the picture quality is awesome. I also purchased the HoverAir Beacon and JoySticks and I’m truly impressed by the innovation and quality, they make controlling and tracking the drone so much easier and unlock features I didn’t even know I needed. I did have a small hiccup with the Beacon at first but HoverAir’s customer service was responsive and very helpful, which gave me confidence in the brand. The HoverAir X1 ProMax combined with the Beacon and JoySticks, is a must-have for any parent who wants to capture life’s special moments in a cinematic way. Highly recommended!

Having purchased the Beacon to upgrade the flying experience of my X1, I was hopeful that this would all work. My initial attempts to forge communication between the drone and the Beacon failed. I googled the situation, only to discover that others had, had similar experiences. The firmware upgrades needed were not possible via the convential means. This searching also unearthed a PC upgrade approach using a software tool called Flykit, available from Hoverair support. I messaged support with precise details of firmware on the Beacon, X1 and the app version currently deployed, together with serial numbers. Within 12 hours, I received a detailed response with a download link to Flykit, and instructions regarding how to use it. Bingo.....success! From the jaws of despair, I was rescued, and will remain eternally grateful to Hoverair's support department for their prompt and precise attentions. Oh, and the Beacon has made a huge difference, especially for a biker like me!
