The flavor from smoking with this charcoal is hands down way better than big green egg, or any type of charcoal for that matter. I use this and the super premium lump charcoal in my vintage kamado pot. I really like the smoke flavor and smell, its much better than some of the cheap charcoal, and not to mention this stuff seems to burn slower than competitors stuff. Overall some of the best charcoal out there. I've tried most every type of lump you can buy from local stores like Ace Hardware and Georgia Spa Company. Hands down the best stuff around.

Incredibly dissappointed in the crumbs included. The lump is fine but not worth the money. If it were the large piece lump, it would get a better rating. No reason to pay this much for small pieces of good lump coal**Edit** after using one of the two bags, I am revising the review from 3-2 stars. I am disappointed in the crumbs as well as the amount of Ash produced. Jealous devil is significantly less Ash production for the same price. I might as well buy Royal oak compared to this
