Great price and filter works like it should! I believe this filter is a must, in conjunction with other filters. Your pump and espresso machine will thank you later!

one of the best Everpure filters
bought this for a hot water dispenser at work, as we have really hard water there, and this helped tremendously! water with the old filter was cloudly, which we all thought it was because the water was so hot, but no, it was actually cloudy because it was so dirty. water is crystal clear now, even after 6 months of use. definitely buying again when we change this one out.

For Espresso, I prefer the ESO 7 Cartridge
For several years I used a twin series filter head with MC2 pre-filer and 7SO water softener cartridges to feed my La Marzocco Linea. I recently tried an ESO 7 cartridge, and I prefer the improvement this made for my espresso. I have replaced the twin series filter head with a single head, and cannot imagine going back to my previous set-up.

Well designed
Easy to install, and doesn't leak (it screwed in so easily, not leaking was somewhat surprising). Used the EV927218 QL2 head and PEX tubing. Water hardness is now within the range suggested by my espresso machine manufacturer. Should be an easy filter change in 9 to 12 months.
