Replace the rubber tee with a turf tee plug that you can insert a wooden or plastic tee into. The tee plug sits flush with the surface of the standard Optishot turf so the ball sits flat when a tee isn't required. You'll no longer have to dig out broken tee stubs from the rubber tee! The tee plugs are very durable and are sold in pairs.
