Treadclimber Deck for Model TC1000 3000 5000 Left and Right Side Pair

I took away one star b/c these came with no instructions. I finally managed to locate an owner's manual online, after calling their support line and them giving me wrong instructions. No problem. They were courteous and tried to help just didn't have the right instructions. These are instructions for the TC1000, 3000, and 5000 models. The quality is as good as the original, which is subpar to begin with, but hey, it is what it is. Installation is easy if you have the right directions. Here ya go.Replacing the DeckTools• #2 Phillips Screwdriver• 3/16” Hex Key• 5/32” Hex Key1. Unplug power cord from rear of unit.2. Using a 3/16” Hex Key, loosen the adjustment bolts on thefront roller(s) to loosen Walking Belt(s). This will alloweasy side to side movement of the Walking Belt(s) foraccess to the screws on deck(s).3. Remove plastic foot platform on side of treadle (Figure 1).4. Slide Walking Belt to the inside to get access to outerdeck screws.5. Remove top belt guide and 4 deck screws (Figure 2 & 3).6. Slide Walking Belt to the outside to get access to theinner deck screws.7. Remove the 4 remaining deck screws.8. Slide the old deck out from under the Walking Belt.9. Slide new deck under the Walking Belt.10. Install 4 new screws to one side of deck.11. Slide belt over to get access to other side of deck.12. Install 4 new screws into the deck.13. Re-install the belt guide.14. Slide belt to center of deck and rollers.15. Repeat steps 3 through 14 on the opposite side.16. Tighten the front roller adjustment bolts to tighten theWalking Belt. (Adjust the 2 bolts on each front rollerevenly to keep the Walking Belt straight.)17. Re-attach plastic foot platform to side of treadle. (Makesure foot platform does not sit on top of the Walking Belt.)18. Repeat steps 16 and 17 on the opposite side.19. Inspect the Walking Belts under the treadles to makesure there is no blockage or unwanted material.20. Plug in and run unit to make sure that the Walking Beltdoes not have problems with tracking or slipping.21. Lubricate the deck and belt system.

I followed the instructions of another Amazon subscriber. Very simple to replace just need a little bit of mechanical ability. I would highly recommend this replacement part fits perfect.

Perfect replacement for the broken deck on my TC3000. The deck came with holes pre-drilled which was great (some product/comment text indicated that they might not be pre-drilled). I’ve replaced a lot of parts on my Treadclimber and this was the least amount of drama because of the instructions in the top-rated review. Follow those and you are golden. It took about 30 minutes start to finish. Highly recommended if you don’t want to throw out a Treadclimber because of a broken deck.

Unfortunately, these are the only types of board available to replace the decks on this machine. This time, the first replacement board broke within two weeks. I am now waiting for the second one to break so I can create a complaint and hopefully get a replacement for the replacement. It should be noted that this board is the same type as the original on the Treadclimber, so not really the seller's fault. I wish someone would create a sturdier one, even if more expensive. I have gone through probably a dozen of these over the years since owning the machine, despite being nowhere near the weight limit for the machine and regularly lubricating the belts.

Nothing against the supplier they are just sending what the manufacturer makes, but these parts are made from particle board (so were the originals). CHEAP CHEAP stuff you can easily make the same thing from some good plywood for probably less than $20. Lesson learned.
