Very useful all-round cable. Use it mainly with my Sony cameras, and it's nice and compact when I need to rig an external monitor.

Love Smallrig's products - they always feel sturdily built and perform to spec. This cable is great to have on hand - as it supports higher end power delivery and data use cases - such as connecting laptops or phones to a USB C monitor, or a high speed external SSD. The coiled cable helps keep things tidy, especially in highly portable set ups, like using external SSD storage with a phone.

I needed to get this for my V mount battery connected to my FX3 and with the angles it has worked so well compared to my other ways they used to just stick out and they will bend and stop working after a bit but since I’ve purchased this, it’s been amazing charging speed is perfect great value for money disability is amazing and the quality of it just feels high End.

I'm a big fan of Smallrig photography products so thought I would give this cable a chance. Quality is good and transmission speeds as far as I can tell match advertised specs. The only caveat I can think of is that being coiled it has a lot of tension and if you are considering to connect anything lightweight at a distance that requires the coils to stretch, don't! I tried with a laptop and a portable monitor, even side by side the two were puled into each other. How I Rate - ***** Don’t think, just buy it! - **** Nothing to complain about, I’d spend my own money on this. - *** Does what it should but there may be better alternatives - ** Problems or issues encountered that outweigh any benefits. - * Run for the door! Whilst I do sometimes include photos and videos in my reviews, due to time constraints this will only be when I feel that doing so would serve a purpose in demonstrating how an aspect of the product works or fails. I only order Items that I or my family have a genuine use for and as such you can be sure that they are tested in real world warts and all situations. Good quality cables, thanks to being coiled it keeps it neat when not used. It is good for data transfer and fast charging devices. Make sure you use it with a compatible charger in order to get charging speeds of up to 100W. Works with various USB C camera as well. Good value for money.

I know the brand SMALLRIG from owning few of their adapters and mounts for photo/videography, so when I saw this coiled USB C data cable, I didn’t hesitate to go for it. This cable is a great upgrade as my current coiled cable is limited to 20W; this cable is rated up to 100W and data transfer speed up to a blazing 20 Gbps. Another plus is that the connector housings are metallic i.e. not plastic, and angled making this cable just suitable for using out in the field. Together with the discount voucher, you can’t go wrong with this cable.

I already own a few Smallrig products, so I knew what to expect from this cable when I ordered it. The cable is one of those coiled ones, so it stretches only as long as you need it to, thus preventing the cable spaghetti that normally ensues. The cable is very high quality, and the fact it can deliver 100W of power and also tranfer data means it's a truly universal kind of cable. I do photography and filmmaking, so this kind of coiled cable is a godsend because we cinematographers hate cables trailing everywhere.

Good cable, well-built.

This is a really well made cable. It is tough and high performance. The cheap USB-C cables you get for free are worth just that much... nothing, short of not having anything. The speed of transfer and the power delivery are dramatically better. You want a metal wheel skate board from the 1960's or an eBike? Wholly cow !! I have a drawer full of usb-C cables that are free and I buy the good ones I use. The freebies are just to use until you can get something better.
