Booq Mamba Daypack for 15-inch Macbook and Laptop - Gray

I purchased this product from Amazon last October. I have been thrilled with it ever since, in two distinct phases of thrilledness.The first phase was what you would hope for. The bag is smart, sturdy and doesn't make me sweat to death when worn. The pockets inside are of a high quality and protect my MBP and iPad well. There is sensibly-limited room for other items in the main compartment, but it's enough for me to carry essential items (external HDD, spare T-shirt and underwear, deodorant, power adapter, thick notepad, book). It also has a convenient clip for a keyring, carefully placed so that the keys aren't able to scratch the MacBook or iPad in use, provided that the bag is kept approximately the right way up. The second zip pocket does well for carrying smaller items.The second phase of thrilledness came this February. My flat was ruined by a huge amount of water through the ceiling from the flat above. A vast amount of water came through the ceiling, and splashed all around our living room and kitchen area. The Booq bag was in there, sat for hours in conditions where it was sat on a wet carpet, being heavily splashed from all directions. Amazingly, despite the fact that the main compartment was unzipped, there was barely any water inside the bag and my £1500+ of technology and its data were safe. This is because the top opening of the bag is designed to stay shut. At rest, provided the bag isn't massively overloaded, there is almost no line of sight into the bag.I wouldn't rely on having the same success, but it's fair to say I am very grateful for this bag. It dried out nicely and I still use it every day. It's certainly up to the rigours of a commute by Tube.

very good quality, and looks great. The only thing I don't love about it is the hard shell on the top makes it a little hard to put things in and take them out, or even see them inside the bag, but overall it's awesome.
