The Elsa Beskow Baby Book: Memories of Your Baby's Early Years Hardcover – 19 Sept. 2013

I have always adored the Elsa Beskow illustrations and this baby book is a beautiful compilation of them with lovely sections for notes on your baby's firsts and beautiful, thoughtful details and reminders of what to add. This is a must for any expectant parent or someone looking to gift a new baby.

Truly beautiful book and far exceeded my high expectations.The illustrations are from a gentler time. Not too old-fashioned but timeless compared to modern baby books.The artwork is stunning. These are 3 of my favourites but the other pictures are all suitable for a boy or a girl.Liked the book so much have just ordered another and will be getting a 3rd for a future gift.

Lovely book with lots of space to add information and photos. I like that it’s not just for the first year like many others I’d found. Very pretty illustrations throughout.

Love this baby book and the beautiful artwork by Elsa Beskow. It had a lot more pages with stuff to fill out than I expected.

This is the highest quality baby book I've ever seen. It arrived in perfect condition. It's printed in Latvia on smooth, thick paper with charming illustrations. I'm partial to Swedish things because my grandfather was Swedish, but it would be perfect for almost anyone. It isn't ethnically diverse, though, but 100 years ago Sweden was quite vanilla :D

日本語版は廃版になっていましたが、amazonさんからは購入できて喜んでいます。べスコフの優しい絵がとても気に入りお祝いにしました。先方もとても、喜んで下さいました。

This baby book is beautiful, I would highly recommend it.

I would recommend this baby book to someone who wants a book with sweet illustrations, not something really commercial with cartoon characters. It does use the British English words and spellings for things, so some Americans might not like that (sledging instead of sledding), but I think it's really cute. There are not a ton of spots for photos, but there are several and there is room on the pages for writing on where you could attach additional photos. The things that it prompts you to record, such as first hair cut, first outing in the pram (stroller), etc. are nice things to be reminded to record.
