HopUnion A2-AAP3-2IVA Citra Hops One Pound Pellet

Citra is a staple hop for me. I typically order from YVH but short on time, I order prime from amazon. Mistake! The hops were certainly not fresh and had already started to brown. Luckily, I go through hops quickly enough that I can make it work, but would strongly suggest people avoid these moving forward.

I don't use this for brewing, I add it to tea and even a couple of pellets in the coffee maker. It lends a wonderful grapefruity, floral flavor that is really refreshing. It is mighty powerful - too much and the acid sorta overpowers the rest of the flavors. Great stuff!

The aroma on this were AMAZING. Bright and citrusy. I could leave this open in my house all the time to inhale the scents! Used for a beer class to show a sample of the style of hops, it was very well received.

This is exactly what I needed for making cranberry beer. Awesome.

Easier than running to the local store for single bags. If you seal up the bad well, they keep fine in the fridge.

I've purchased 3lbs over the last couple years, great all around hop for Pale Ales.

Fresh Citra. Packaged well. Weren't expired. Made my beer taste like heaven. Got my other ingredients from my local home-brew store, but their citra prices were about 3 times more.
