I was super hesitant to buy these because ther weren't any reviews left on these yet but I decided to just go for it since they were cheap and I needed them ASAP. I was debating between these or Tevas, but decided on these because I didn't want water running under my feet while swimming and having the sandal get pulled in and out and around by currents. These shoes are so cute and very breathable. I went white water rafting with these, swam in the river and walked through rocks. Rocks were still a little slippery but the shoes gave better grip than bare feet would. The shoes had enough rubbery friction against the raft so I never slipped in the raft when walking around. They're very light weight and feel like you're just wearing mesh socks with bottom pad protection. I walked on gravel/Sand in 95 degree (farenheight) weather and couldn't have been happier. If I had regular sandals, I would've been stepping on pebbles, and if I had been wearing regular tennis shoes, my feet would be roasting, but the mesh at the top let the breeze in and the holes at the bottom (protected by mesh so things don't get in) also let air in. They dried fairly quickly, felt a little wet at the foot part for a while, but it didn't feel gross and mushy like other people who had the scuba material shoes. Got tons of compliments on them and would probably even wear them to run errands (they're really light and comfortable) because they don't look all neon and dorky like other normal swim shoes. Fits pretty true to size, I wear a size 6-6.5 and got the size 6 and fit perfectly. They have little tension straps to tighten the shoe if needed. Love them! Highly recommend!

SHOCKINGLY GOOD FOR THE PRICE
Very grateful for fellow reviewers as I would not ordinarily order shoes online. I row in the ocean, and to get the boat in the water I roll it down a ramp, then wade in and sit in the boat. These shoes drain super-quick when I pick my foot up to step in the boat so I am not dragging a lot of salt water in there (I step onto a small towel.) They are also comfortable to row in so I no longer waste time at the dock changing footwear. Lastly, they are also comfortable to walk in, although I would not be doing any mountain hikes. My fellow rower has the Addidas version, about 4x the price, and he said his are not comfortable for walking, and he changes his shoes in the boat, so obviously not comfortable for rowing either. These flex with your foot. So far I love them. Ordered the black, next time I will get hot pink. I measured my foot carefully by standing on a ruler and consulted the size chart because I did not want them to feel sloppy-large and I absolutely did not want the ends of my toes touching the toe end of the shoes. They fit perfectly.

Great water shoe for the $ - Wish I bought these years ago!
I bought a pair for me, then my oldest son got a pair, then the younger son, now the daughter. They all said same thing....ugly shoe until they realized how awesome they are! We use them to go to our local "beach" (sandy beach on river bank). Use them jet skiing or boating, fishing etc. Its like having sneakers on but you can totally get them wet and they work awesome! They have held up 1 summer thus far, no issues. I cant say they are "Well" made but they are holding up ok. For the $, best shoe in the world for water activities. Yes, flip flops are our go to unless we are gonna be active--then these win every time. Buy a pair of shoes laces and you can make them look more like sneakers (kids do this, I don't).

3rd pair
Decent shoe for the price, the first time I purchased these was when I could not find any other brand that had a black shoe with a black sole. Now there are many but I continue to purchase these for the price and quality. I do not work out in these just wear them daily while on my feet all day at work. They last about 8 months, the toe eventually starts to separate from the sole. I keep my older pair for true water recreation. They are very light and minimalist, I often have people ask what brand and where I purchased them.

Loved these.
I tried a similar pair at REI for over $90 dollars. But looking at the construction knew they were made for cents on the dollar and just couldn't justify it. I wasn't sure I expected much from these but they were amazing. I wore them most of my trip because we would go from walking on the boardwalk or through site seeing tours to being at the edge of the beach. I even climbed the Mayan temples in them. They were light and yet offered a lot of support and protection. Definitely miles above the old fashioned water shoes. These allowed me to grip the steps or crooked ledges of rocks and uneven natural stone steps. I might add that I have very high arches and need a good support or my feet start to hurt very quickly. For this to be a water shoot and not designed for padding, I was really surprised at how comfortable it was to walk around in.

Love these shoes!
I love these shoes! I'm wearing them to the beach, but I also use them just to run around in them when I don't want to wear socks and it's warm because I'm not a flip flop person. They're comfy and supportive enough to go on short hikes or walks and they hold up remarkably well. I've worn them on hikes with water crossings and they stick pretty well to rock too!Due to their sole's airy nature, allowing the water to flow through, they do pick up gravel that has to be removed with something pokey later so the sole and the footbed don't get ruined in the long run. Great shoe for a great price!

Love these!
Used these for my honeymoon in Maui. We wouldn’t have been able to do half the things we did without water shoes. These had great traction for all of the muddy, rocky hiking we did. My feet did get a smidge raw on the arch after walking on beaches and hiking in rain but I think that’s pretty normal. I will say, the holes in the bottom of the shoes let a lot of stuff inside. So sand really enveloped my feet which was a little uncomfortable. My husband’s water shoes were a different brand and were more like real shoes and didn’t let in anything except water. But if you’re in water, like the waterfalls we swam in, they’re really perfect. My feet are a little wide and are size 9. I ordered size 9 and they fit pretty perfectly. Maybe a little snug but they stretch.
