A mindfully manufactured yoga mat and accessory bag!
The bag just arrived, I am pleased, so far. The materials used in construction and the design are outstanding! I packed my Jade Harmony mat, Sukha mat, a small towel and a rolled ten foot strap inside the bag with room to spare. Either 3" or 4" yoga blocks fit in the two outside pockets, and a 12 oz. water bottle fit into the designated pocket perfectly. Love the additional padded shoulder strap! The color is as vibrant as the online depiction. I think I could easily fit my thicker Jade Fusion mat into the bag. The manufacturer sent f/u email after my order, and included a thank-you card with the bag. Great customer service thus far! Packaging could have been better, it was in an open plastic bag as if it had been returned (appears to be new). There wasn't any insulation in the box, so I could easily have damaged the bag while cutting the tape. I'm letting the bag air out, it has a strong plastic type scent. I will update after 2 weeks of use.

Two Zippers broke in less than 4 months of use
I had the original bag they made that had wire running along the bag that made it a bit heavier, but was solid and lasted for over 3 years of heavy use.So I ordered one of the newer ones in June of 2018. Within two months one of the zippers jumped off track for zipping up the bag where the mat goes. If the other goes off course I won't be able to zip up the bag anymore. Then around three months in one of the zippers literally broke off as I was zipping up one of the pockets.I wish they still sold the older version because it was built like a tank compared the newer version. I never had a problem with the zippers. Durability is definitely a concern.

All in all... a great buy!
Ok, this is going to be as thorough a review as I can make it. I found this bag after having two other yoga bags blow out seams on me.1. Color: I chose the purple bag (pink isn't really my color lol) and even the purple is REALLY purple, its a good thing I'm a secure fella :).2. Size: My Manduka mat fits end to end in this bag, there is no additional space above it for storage which isn't a big deal because the bag is wide enough to hold at least two mats side by side with room to spare!3. Construction: very well made, I'm on my mat at least 5 days a week, and this bag gets its work out! It's holding up very very well to my use!4. Storage: The two external pouches are great for small items, toiletries etc. You could probably fit a small block in one, but not much else. The water bottle carrier is nice, it holds my 32 oz Nalgene bottle snugly.5. Handles/Strap: There is an included strap which attaches diagonally across the bag. Pretty standard strap, nothing to brag about, it serves it's purpose. The handles however are a bit odd to me. They are the same length as the body strap? I've taken the body/shoulder strap off completely and don't use it at all.6. The included 'baggy' was enticing at first, but upon arrival, I was bummed to find out that it wasn't a 'dry bag' type, but just a nylon baggie that could hold a towel at best.7. I wish the bag was 'water proof' or rubber lined on the interior as I have to carry a plastic bag to put my wet Hot Yoga clothes into after class.

A Yoga Bag, and So Much More
Why did I pick this bag out of all the other colorful and embellished options available? The answer is, precisely because it is not. I am not one for big labels or making flashy statements. I much prefer gear that is understated, designed to be rugged and useful. Small styling cues are fine, but large logos and statement prints are not at all my thing. I want a bag, one that can hold my gear and be portable with a minimum of fuss.I'm also relatively new at this game, so I am not supremely flexible, I need some help here and there. A couple of blocks, a strap, a mat, a couple of towels, a small blanket I can roll up, etc. are all part of what I often use, though sometimes I do yoga with nothing but a carpeted floor. I want a bag that will travel well, carry what I need, have room for a change of clothes, and not stick out like a sore thumb as a way of saying to the world "look at me, I do yoga, aren't I cool?!” Thankfully, the YogaAddict bag puts function over form, and the results are quite impressive. Rugged construction, not too heavy but not at all flimsy, looks and feels solid. My goal is for this to not just be a yoga mat bag, but my all around travel gym I can take with me anywhere. A tall order, but as it turns out, totally doable:workout clothes, towels, yoga block, 8 ft. strap, yoga mat (24" x 72”), Bullworker Steel Bow (because dumbbells are too heavy to pack) and a Bullworker Iso-Gym (because a bench and chinning bar are too big to pack). That's a lot to put into one bag... probably too much, you might say. In fact, there's room to spare, enough for a water bottle as well. One completely self contained and portable gym, ready to go. Fully equipped for yoga, strength training, stretching, bodyweight training, etc. Everything I need in one bag, easy to carry, easy to pack, and the confidence the bag will remain rock solid and durable. The bag itself again is semi-rigid, which makes for a nice durable feel as you walk with it. the load of everything I put in it felt balanced and natural, and the zippers function cleanly, no snags and no binding. The side piping and accents look nice, and add some good reinforcement to the bag, plus help with the overall sturdy feel. The loop handles at both ends are helpful loading onto and off of buses and trains. Fitting it into luggage bins was easy, and removal by the handles was also easy.Design recommendation. Since this would be an awesome travel bag for a take-along gym, I'd suggest using zipper handles with broader holes to more easily pass a small padlock through them for additional security, This would be a good addition to the outer zipper as well as the two pockets. Also, though it's an inner, hidden pocket, it would also be a good design idea to make the inner pocket a double close zipper, so that the same principle could be applied (may be overkill, but it would be a nice touch :) ).The capacity of the bag is wonderful. I was able to put everything I needed for my morning workout, including my suspension straps (which anchor to a door frame) and my steel bow (which is an isometric spring compression device) and could do a full body vigorous workout with everything easily at hand, easily removable, and easily repack-able. The bag can carry a lot but doesn't at all feel like an oversized duffle. It is, however, completely lined and, therefore, completely closed. With packing of gym clothes that could get nice and sweaty, as well as towels, etc. (think Bikram practitioners ;) ), I could see this bag developing a bit too much personality is a fairly short time. Spraying with Febreze would of course help, but perhaps just as helpful would be a "breathing panel", perhaps along the back side. Think a material that is semi-mesh, but durable enough to handle the scuffs and scrapes of loading and unloading. The air can pass through, aid drying, and prevent odor buildup, yet still keep the overall integrity of the bag intact. My suggestions are meant to be exactly that, suggestions for possible improvements, but overall, this bag is aces in the areas that matter the most for me, which is capacity, convenience, durability, portability, and yes, understated elegance. Black and Gray certainly won't appeal to everyone, but it appeals to me. On the whole, an excellent product.

What a nice yoga mat bag!!! The best!!!
What a nice yoga mat bag!! I am so happy that I took the chance ordering it. Not only that the bag is functional, not bulky, it is aesthetically beautiful for a workout bag. What I like the most is once you unzip it, the opening opens up to a rectangular shape, which made it so easy to get my yoga mat in and out very easily. I have a Manduka Pro and I still have plenty of rooms to put other things. It also has two side pockets which has dotted patterns with black and white. Little detail like this makes enhances the look. There a a bottle holder which holds my water bottle perfectly. See photo attached. Inside the bag has a hidden pocket. Once you zip the bag, it is really not bulky at all. I am really happy with this bag for its' quality, appearance, cost, and functionality. Good job Yoga Addict!

Stunning Bag, Great Quality!
I am IN LOVE with the products from Yoga Addict. This bag really over delivered on my expectations, especially for the incredible price. The quality of fabric is top notch, the stitching is perfect (no strings!), the zippers all work great. I love the color combo of calming purple with grey dots, on a matte black. It can fit my 2 yoga blocks (also from Yoga Addict), my hair bands, my toeless grip socks (also from Yoga Addict), my yoga strap (bet you can guess where this is from), my yoga mat, my flexibility bands, and my rumble roller... And there's still room! As a frequent traveler, the pockets, room, and quality of the bag really appeal to me. I hope that it holds up to the test of time + the weather of travel.

not large enough for my needs
I have only given 4 stars because I can't comment on sturdiness or durability as I have only just received it but it does look very well made. The problem I have is that this hasn't taken into account the size of pilates head cushions/blocks so although I can fit my pilates 12mm mat in, I can't get my head cushions in the pockets as they are way too small. I am really disappointed because it means I now have to carry another bag as well as this one all through town to my classes, not an easy feat. This was the only one who made provisions for head cushions/blocks as most accomodate a mat & a drinking bottle at most but sadly still didn't quite fit the bill for me.

Holds all my yoga gear
The bag is a bit bigger than I'd envisaged (I get jokes about where my tent is!) however, it does mean that I can get all my yoga kit in it. I carry a mat, a yoga block,(sometimes two) and a fleece blanket in tithe main body of the bag, and things like phone, purse, notebook etc easily fit in the small pockets, plus there's special one for my water bottle. During the class, there's room for me to stash my handbag, shoes and sweater so, although the bag takes up a bit of space, everything is neatly and safely inside it.It's been much admired

Question the 5* reviews???
I was dissatisfied with the quality of this product. The material feels like thick cheap plastic and the side pockets are not big enough to hold blocks. I am questioning all these 5* reviews, many of whom have had the product for free in return for a review.
