I love this iPad Air. My iPad mini had been a good servant and a brilliant friend for almost 10 years then it suddenly died. I knew I needed a replacement but my eyes are not as good as they were so I thought I would go for a bigger size to ensure I could still use it if sight deteriorated even more. I ordered an iPad Air 13”. It looked good but was too heavy and too bulky for me to have at the bedside, etc. so I returned it straight away to Amazon and ordered the same but in the 11” size. I am delighted with it. It is large enough to make everything I need it to do easy to access but small and light enough to pop in a decent sized handbag, have on a side table near the sofa and it’s ideal on my bedside table for when I need to read in the night without disturbing my better half. The maps are clear. The photos are great. There is a lot it will do that I haven’t even tried yet but I am very satisfied indeed so far. It wasn’t cheap but my last iPad cost £349 10 years ago, so for about £35 per year it’s been amazing value. I am hoping that this iPad will last well too, and as our young granddaughter is very good with iPads and she helps me when I need to learn something new, I will probably get even more fun and help out of this one. I chose this for size and speed, it’s good quality, battery life is amazing and the value is very good for what you get.

Excellent iPad, battery life is amazing - I can go nearly two full days before I need to charge. Works brilliantly with my thunderbolt docking station and so easy to setup and useI now use it every day, whether for work or personal it copes with everything that you throw at it

Controls take a bit of manoeuvring until you get used to no side button. Battery runs down quite quickly but charges quite quickly as well. Size is excellent and a good screen.

a great bit of kit

A lovely bit of kit just what I wanted it’s an update from a very old small tablet takes great pics I use it mostly for banking watching tv on and shopping lovely clear screen well worth the money just a shame you can’t pay in instalments anymore as I have a bad credit rating and brought mine on a five month payment plan

Bought to replace 1st Generation iPad Mini which would not upgrade iOS so NOT POSSIBLE TO TRANSFER APPS/eMails/Pictures etc. as stated by Apple. Therefore had to manually transfer which is not perfect. New Apple iPad Air is slightly heavier due to larger screen and larger battery. On the upside, better quality screen, so pictures now HD quality. Was able to buy matching purple case and Anker USB-C charger plug from Amazon, so wife very pleased. Delivery driver ensured correct item received and she waited whilst I unwrapped it = great customer service. Also, originally ordered previous M2 chip version which was cheaper, but Amazon cancelled it…to my surprise, which allowed me to reorder the latest M3 chipped version. Due to this, I reordered from Amazon, although same price as Apple Store.
