Outstanding laptop
I bought this to replace a refurbished Macbook Air with the Intel 5 processor that I bought about a year ago to replace a beat-up HP laptop that was causing more problems than it is worth after a couple of years of use. The refurbished Mac works fine, but Apple does not support it, and I have had problems with some websites that I need to use. Its battery is 10 years old and doesn't hold a charge for more than three or four hours, either. So, I checked for the newer Macbooks and found this 2025 Macbook Air with the M4 processor for less than $780, including tax, on Amazon. I pulled the trigger and am very glad I did. It's incredibly fast, compact, runs the latest software and holds a charge for about 15 hours of normal use. An added bonus is that I can use the same external keyboard and mouse on both Macbook Air models that I now have, which saves wear and tear on the keyboard and laptop. My keys tend to lose their lettering after a year or two of use, starting with the E, A, and I letters, so I like using the external keyboard and mouse. The laptop is a fantastic deal for the price I paid and ranks among the best laptop deals available by many of the tech sites/publications I have found online.

A Stunning Gift for Any Apple Enthusiast
I bought this MacBook Air as a special gift for my granddaughter, and seeing her excitement and genuine delight was priceless. I've been a huge Mac fan for years, and the 2025 MacBook Air with the new M4 chip certainly continues Apple's tradition of excellence. Right from the unboxing, the Midnight finish looked strikingly elegant, offering a sophisticated look that's both youthful and professional. The 13.6-inch Liquid Retina Display is vivid and sharp, delivering bright colors and exceptional clarity—perfect for her college projects, streaming videos, or video calls. Performance-wise, the M4 chip paired with 16GB unified memory ensures smooth multitasking, quick loading times, and effortless handling of demanding tasks, making this laptop an excellent companion for both study and creativity. The inclusion of a 12MP Center Stage Camera is particularly impressive; video calls are crisp, and the camera smartly keeps my granddaughter centered during family FaceTime sessions—a delightful feature we've both appreciated greatly.Apple's signature Touch ID ensures quick, secure access, and the laptop's battery life remains impressive, comfortably lasting through her busy days without frequent charging. If I had to offer one suggestion to Apple, it would be about the storage—256GB SSD might feel tight over time, particularly for someone who deals with extensive multimedia files. Still, it's manageable with iCloud or external storage options.Overall, this MacBook Air has delivered beyond expectations, making a perfect gift that blends stylish design with remarkable functionality. My granddaughter loves it, and as an Apple devotee myself, I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Highly recommended!

Expensive, light, and annoyingly good
The MacBook Air is thin, fast, and annoyingly perfect — exactly what you want when you paid a small fortune for a laptop that can also, apparently, make your coffee (not really, but it might feel like it). The battery lasts forever, the screen is gorgeous, and it types quietly enough that you can pretend to work while browsing cat memes. It’s everything Apple says it is… and everything my bank account hates.

A Fast, Fantastic Laptop Computer
The Apple macBook 13 is a superb computer and Amazon had a great price. The 2025 model has the most advanced OS of any macBook versions. Earlier versions are still available elsewhere, but they do not have the M4 system. The computer is trim and light making it much easier to carry than my previous laptop. Consumer Reports gave this laptop excellent ratings, including predicted reliability and owner satisfaction. If you have an iPhone or iPad, the laptop will sync with them seamlessly. There are cheaper computers, but I don't think there are better computers on the market.

Great Basic Computer that offers so much more.
Great laptop. Fast, sleek, great operating system. Needed a basic laptop for average needs. Debated about getting the ipad with a magic keyboard vs MacBook Air. The laptop is a far better value. Real computer, real keyboard, real operating system and long battery. If you need a basic computer this is it and so much more. If you want something to craze social media get an Ipad. But I just find this a much better value than an Ipad. Again you need to assess your needs vs features vs value. If this had a touchscreen I would have not even considered the Ipad. Face it. Macbooks are expensive but they hold out a lot better than the other options. If you are a creative professional you have alot of options when considering RAM and storage options. But for writing and basic photo editing this is a perfect machine.
