Great Sleeping Bags
I specifically purchased two of these bags since they can zip together. It was cheaper to get the two individual bags over a double/queen sized bag. They worked perfectly for our camping trip. Our cats certainly approved of them as well.

Comfortable and warm.
Thicker, comfortable and warm, this bag was an upgrade for my kids who outgrew their "kid" sized bags. We opted for the rectangular style as we thought our kids were still too young to want to be in a 'mummy' sack. We took this bag camping overnight when the low temperature took a surprising dip south to 40 degrees. It is rated for 32-50 and definitely fulfilled our expectations.Coleman's sleeping bags have been reliably good in our experience. We have bought Coleman bags and tents for the last 15 years and have always found them to be good value. This item is no exception.

Wait....you want me to sleep..in a bag?
When they say it's for cool weather they're not kidding. Internally this is like a thick flannel (see my -1 star comment) with thick walls and the standard woven nylon outside. Coleman isn't the lightest or highest tech...but they have mastered simple, inexpensive products that last.Construction is good, straight seams and no 'irish pennants'' all over.Length is good (I'm 5-6") and plenty of room inside it. Not a mummy bag, just standard sleeping bag shape.Now...this thing is new and the interior fabric, while heavy duty, is also stiff. Like new flannel shirt stiff.I will probably wash this (per tag) to see if it softens up any.....just cause of that I'm dinging a -1 on the stars.

Purchased two Sets To Zip Together!
Great product! Was usable right out of the box. I purchased two set so I could zip them together and is currently using as a comforter on top of my full size bed. Keeps me cozy warm during the night which can get quite cold. Love the colors & interior is a flannel material. My Sammy loved it too. Was also easy to roll up & loop the straps. Just wished it came with covers. Otherwise I highly recommend this product.

but so far I'm happy with it
My family and I camp all the time - 3 to 4 times a summer - and this was a replacement for my 10 year old coleman that had finally given up the ghost (zippers separated from the bag).I've only used this one once, but so far I'm happy with it. Kept me very warm and comfortable in temperatures that dropped down into the upper 40s the first night, but wasn't too hot when we broke out the space heater on the second night.I'm not really a fan of the strap system used to keep it rolled up, and I wish it shipped with a compression bag, but I'll solve both problems by getting my own compression bag.

Can be tandem!
Great sleeping bag. You can put two of them together to make a tandem bag. Keeps my daughter and I warm on cold tent nights.

It's soft, it's warm, it zips, it rolls and it's affordable. Perfect!
I'm a life-long camper and have had the same sleeping bag for the past 20-something years. I wanted bags for my 3 and 5 year-old that they could use into adulthood, too. My requirements were cotton lining, sturdy zipper and fairly universal temperature range. These fit the bill and kept the girls nice and comfy. While they may not survive into adulthood (what's built to last anymore?), I was impressed with their sturdiness considering the nylon exteriors. The lining was soft, I like the gadget pocket, the zipper looks like it'll last and I seriously don't get why people are having so many problems rolling it up. There are even toggles to keep it lined up and from having one side "walk away", plus you don't have to put it into a body hold to tie ties. I had the first one rolled tightly, and by the second had it back to shipping size. I like the fastening system, personally. Plus, with kids it's machine washable which is ALWAYS good. The only thing I wish was different which is impossible to find anymore- especially in this price range- is a cotton exterior to keep the kids from sliding off their mattresses during the night quite as much. As far as carrying bags go, I may not have as much experience since I haven't bought any recently, but my impression was that those bags are best for the "stuff 'em in" bags. The "roll 'em up" type never seem to go back in anyway. No loss here. I'm loving these.

Got it on sale, and I'm glad I jumped on it!
I am SO happy with the purchase of this particular sleeping bag! Not only is it attractive, but it kept me warm this past Memorial Day weekend. I brought along a comforter in case it got too cold or I needed it while sleeping in my tent. The temperature hovered between 45 and 55 overnight, and I didn't use the comforter once (I didn't need anything additional for warmth). I was so warm in the sleeping bag I even had to unzip it to provide some cooling! And, by the way, the zipper is very sturdy and well-made - no issues there. SO happy!
