Had an LE error on my LG, replaced with this part as was recommended by multiple sources. Well, seems to have done the trick, only done a couple of loads but no more error messages so I'm happy.

Rarely have things work out so well as what happened with this product. My LG washing machine stopped working-the frontloading drum failed to spin anymore so I called my local washing machine repair service. By the time I was halfway through the call, my head was spinning, but not the washing machine! Number one, $125 to come to my house and say "hello"— next was a list of things that could possibly be wrong, from replacing the inside stater, possibly both the inside and outside parts of it-then other issues that it might be-I was told the average range of fixing it would be somewhere between $300 and $400, but with no guarantees that it might even be higher. I realized the machine was 10 years old and thought I should just get another one-I then saw how high the price of new washing machines are. In desperation and just to ease my financial pain for a while I thought of the ridiculous idea of going on YouTube and typing in "LG washing machine front loader not working"--to my amazement there was a video that showed that some kind of sensor replacement that oftentimes causes the whole problem. I looked it up on Amazon and saw that it was ridiculously inexpensive at $13.97. I thought to myself, "why not waste the money and just try replacing it?"-The video on YouTube showing how it can be replaced was incredibly clear and easy to understand. I ordered the part- Ultra Durable 6501kw2002A Rotor Position Sensor Replacement Part by Blue Stars - it came quickly and was very easy to replace and in a short matter of time, I did it myself. To my amazement, the machine absolutely works like brand-new and I am a very delighted customer and proud that I just not have the repair service comment-boy am sure would have charged me a fortune with possibly parts possibly not needed- and there is also a great sense of satisfaction that I did it myself. Great story-absolutely all true and I think everyone should just not roll over and moan when the repairs needed to take the time to research what you can do it yourself. The part number exactly matched the part number from our LG washer and looked like the same exact part. However, the plastic prongs had to be modified by filing. Once that was completed, the part fit and worked properly, so that was a fix for the error code of LE. Way less expensive than the minimum of $105 dollars that we were quoted over the phone. And even better was the part was delivered in 24 hrs and so the washer was fixed the next day, while the repair person from LG could not even get scheduled for almost 2 weeks. So all in all, very happy with the part and my handyman husband.

LG washer (model WT1101CW) was jerking and displayed error code "LE." This compatible sensor resolves the issue, and now the washer works as a new one - Customer is happy!

There’s nothing more satisfying than repairing something yourself on an appliance and saving hundreds and hundreds of dollars. Repair worked great.

The inner circumference locking tab would not correctly snap over the stator's locking pin, as the tab appears to be not long enough. I bought it because for a few dollars more it was advertised as "upgraded ultra durable" but I found it to be of flimsy quality, in fact it cracked while I was trying to install it. I also discovered that Pins 1&2 that are supposed to be oval shaped to prevent the plug from being reversed were not (at least for an LG washer) which is most likely a "one size fits all" manufacturing design. For an LG washer, the specs for measuring OHMS between pin 2 and then pins 4&5 are supposed to both read about 10K ohms. I found this sensor was reading 1M Ohm on both pins 4&5, so I did not proceed any further out of fear of damaging my brand new main control board. Trying to give the manufacturer feedback so maybe they can address these points?

Ordered the sensor and wiring harness all at once as they were both inexpensive and you have to take it apart anyway so when both harness and Sensor changes Saved the cost of a new Dryer, Better to do both than do one just in case the one part was not the one that is broken. do the complete job once instead of twice. Time is money and the value of the parts is well worth the time to change both

Great value for the part considering how much a new washer would be. It fit with my 11 year old LG washing machine. Good as new!

Installed on front load washer and it corrected problem with le code coming up on washer display

This was for an LG washer that would display an LE error. I tested the components as per the manual and everything indicated the Position Sensor to be defective. I tested the original Position Sensor and it did not have the proper impedance. I ordered this one and installed it. Easy job, fit was perfect. At first, I plugged the washer in, and ran the diagnostic cycle. The issue was still there. I cycled the power and it worked. So I loaded the washer and did a regular washing cycle. The error "LE" came back. I went back into the diagnostic and now it doesn't spin again. I have tested all other aspects and this appears to be the only defective item. I've contacted amazon and the seller and am waiting for support. First one did not function.
