This is my first time trying this product. To be honest, I had been thinking about trying this product for weeks but I wasn’t convinced that I would like the taste or the texture and it’s fairly expensive if i don’t like it. Eventually I decided that for the health benefits I’d give it a try and just persevere with it until it was finished. So far i have only tried the cocoa one and I must say that I liked it from the very first mouthful. It doesn’t go soggy unlike regular cereal, it’s got a really good chocolate flavour and the crisp texture is particularly morish. This would be great for anyone who wants themselves and their family to eat healthier without sacrificing taste, and for anyone who is interested, yes it does turn your milk chocolatey. Yes it’s more expensive than regular cereal but in my opinion, I’d rather pay more money for better nutrition, high quality ingredients, and less junk in my food. High protein/low carb also means that you’re not hungry for rubbish as you feel fuller for longer. I’m so glad that I took the chance and tried Surreal and I look forward to trying the other flavours.

I use this cereal as part of my diet daily. It’s convenient to have a meal or snack where the macronutrients are balanced like this. Especially in a morning when my appetite is fairly low. The flavours are good, a little artificial but still much better than trying to eat whey protein for breakfast. It goes down easy, although a little harder to chew than other cereal, which I got used to pretty quickly. My main gripe would be with the packaging. Which no matter how I open it the bag seems to split down the side. This is very frustrating as then when I’m measuring out my servings it spills on the counter. Not ideal. Speaking of servings, I must mention that the servings aren’t very large as the cereal itself is quite dense. A bit of a double edged sword as when you are hungry this cereal is definitely not as cost effective. For the serving I usually have, it works out close to £2 per serving which isn’t horrendous when I consider the cost of protein bars etc. this cost is reduced if you ‘subscribe and save’ I only hope that in time this cereal will become more commonplace and therefore cheaper to produce. Some better or cheaper packaging may go a ways to help to achieve this. I can recommend this to anyone that takes their diet seriously, who doesn’t necessarily have the time to meal prep every meal of every day. My favourite flavours are cinnamon and chocolate. :)

The flavours are nice It’s crunchy Chocolate is a bit bitter and sweet at the same time but isn’t dark chocolate like that too? lol I have bought 5 times thus far that’s 25 boxes in less than 3 months, that’s to tell u how much I enjoy this brand If u don’t want something sweet stick to peanut, if u want something sweet frosty is your go to flavour. If u Like cinnamon and its smell then u will like the cinnamon flavour, I love it but some people find it’s flavour too spicy. If you like dark chocolate then the chocolate flavour is best for you. The only downside is the price as I’m likely going to start working at this company when my money runs out haha. Still cheaper than Catalina which use to be my favourite. I’m off to ordering for another box now, ran out yesterday

I tried all of them. There's various flavours, but all of them, are too salty for me. I kind of enjoyed my first bowl of peanut butter mixed with chocolate, but after that, I just didn't like them. They've become more & more salty, the more that I eat them. They leave a salty & bitter aftertaste. They may not have sugar in them, but they sure do have a lot of salt in them. Personally, I'd rather get my protein from eating a handful of Brazil nuts than eat these ever again. They're far too expensive for the volume that you get. The boxes are slimmer than the standard size ones (see photos for comparison). I was surprised how slim they are. It's a good idea to offer more seemingly tasty alternatives to the bland vegan cereal market out there. These ones just need a lot less salt and a sprinkle of sugar. I'm sure there's healthy sugar options out there that they could add, like natural sugar cane, agave nectar powered sugar, or coconut sugar. Overall, the ideas a hit & the flavour are a miss. I won't be missing these as they are. This review is based only on my personal taste & experience, so you might like them.

So far I have tried the peanut butter flavour and the chocolate flavour cereals. It is nice and crunchy but I found the taste very very sweet. Much sweeter than any of my previous cereal choices and too sweet for me with a bit of an after taste too. I like the idea of the zero sugar and the high protein content but due to the cost for a fairly small box of cereal and the very sweet taste, I doubt this will be a regular purchase for me.

This a great way to start the day with no sugar and low carbs. Love the taste

Ultra sickly sweet, you would think with the composition of the cereal being low carbohydrate and high protein it would have a flavour profile aimed at an adult - It doesn't. It's so sweet it's difficult to eat, they need to remove the artificial sweeteners or at least do a version without it. On top of that it has an extortionate price tag. The only positive is that it has a decent texture and doesn't go soggy quickly so with some changes to flavour and sweetness it could be good. I wont be buying it again unless the sweeteners are removed.
