Aphogee Two-Step Protein Treatment 118 ml

I love this treatment so much. It works a treat for my kinky, coily and curly hair.After using it just once, my curls were popping more than I've ever seen before in my entire life. It's fairly easy to comb through your hair, although do it while it's damp since it wants to dry very quickly and will snap it you're too rough with it when the protein is working. It can take a while for your whole hair to dry, if it's thick like mine. So leave it out, don't tie it up and you'll know when it's done when your hair goes rock-hard.At this point, DO NOT COMB OR TRY TO DETANGLE IT. I found that after my hair was drenched for about 2 minutes under the shower, my hair actually felt soft - to my shock. Protein treatments usually leave your hair hard and horrible but this only made my hair feel strong and smooth. You still need to follow it up with a conditioner, but I just used my favourite deep conditioner and my hair looked and felt the healthiest it's ever been even though it's got layers and layers of dye and bleach backed up on it.I love this product. It's worth every penny even for a small bottle. Be warned, it smells like fish sauce but didn't really bother me as the smell never lingers once I've washed it out. The liquid is very thin, so have a towel at hand to clean up any mess and it's easy to clean up anyway. This is a great product and I should have purchased it earlier.

This product is fantastic, I found after dying my hair blonde years ago and through constant straighting my curls were limp and not forming properly. Never mind the damage to the rest of my hair (dry hair, split ends, split ends just snapping off) also after the birth of my son my hair was very weak and just falling out my head.... So I decided to buy this, and wow am I impressed!! Now I did A LOT of research on this before buying (suggest you do the same as this is a professional treatment) and no matter how many YouTube videos you watch or reading up NOTHING can prepare you for the sticky mess you're about to get yourself into haha. This is a very strong treatment so buyers beware you could end up with worse hair than before if not used properly or if protein is not what your hair needs. This is NOT a deep conditioning product so will NOT make your hair soft but it will make it stronger so after use please apply a very moisturising deep conditioner to get the softness back into your hair. Also I would suggest finding someone who has a hooded drier and drying your hair under that as a normal hair drier could blow your hair around far too much and could cause damage. Finally after I used it I didn't see results in my hair straight away, felt a little disappointed but in the weeks after my hair was stronger, curling better and wasn't falling out as much. Will continue to buy and I think the price is great especially with the fact it's only a monthly-2monthly treatment. If you have damaged protein hungry hair this is for you!!

This product really helps my hair when it goes stringy because of too much bleach! I have a full fringe so whenever I have to straighten it for special occasions that and the bleach turns my hair to straw, this product completely gets rid of that the next day and I dont even follow the instructions perfectly! Only rated 4 stars because of how sticky it is haha!

My hair was pretty dry with split ends from years of bleaching, when I had the ultimate disaster. Hairdresser left colour in too long and fried my hair. I was left with a dull mess that looked like cotton wool, felt like wire wool with chunks/split ends breaking off if I dared to brush it, and no movement at all. Protein treatments and various other gunks just weren't working. Then I did a bit of research, found this, read the reviews and dared to hope. Like others have said, it's a wee bit messy and goes like glue but that didn't bother me. From the moment I started to rinse this out I knew something special had happened. After step 2 I just left my hair to dry naturally and I couldn't believe it! My hair dried a lot smoother and less frizzy than EVER in my life, it felt soft and healthy with movement and shine. When i straightened it I could have cried with happiness - nearly all the damage has been repaired (to be honest I probably missed the odd bit or it would all have been repaired) and my hair is better than it ever was. Reckon it's almost like a Brazilain blow dry but it doesn't set your hair into a style or take the body out of your hair the way my friends have said that does. You must follow the instructions carefully and must do step 2 - buy this, it will be the best hair treatment you ever get and at a great price.

I have bleached my hair for years and it's always been greasy if anything but recently I'd noticed that it looked very dull and felt straw like. I was skeptical about using this on my fine curly hair but thought it worth a try and I'm glad I did.It goes on in a liquid state and quickly becomes veeery sticky (don't mess with your hair at this stage if it sheds a lot like mine) and dries hard. After rinsing I thought I could still feel it in my hair but a bit of conditioner did the trick and after drying it was smooth and felt nourished and not weighed down like with rich conditioners.

Not sure about the effect of this. I must say I was not in awe of its effect on my highlighted hair, plus it is a real hassle doing it. Once you wash your hair you have to apply this treatment, which smells pretty bad, than dry your hair for at least 20 mins. Afterwards you have to wash the straw like hair and apply some conditioner. I did not notice any difference:(

This stuff is great if ur hair is like chewing gum u need this !!! A cheap alternative to olaplex its a great way to keep damaged or extremely over processed hair in good condition and repairs most damage. Im a hairdresser I use this on clients and its perfect in every way. For best results use the conditioner to balance and i use a leave in collagen and keratin based conditioner to make it feel extra lush :) p.s it stinks to high heaven but its worth it
