Best for extremely dry skin
I have used shea butter to moisturize my very dry legs for several years. It is the best natural substance I have found for this purpose. I have tried many different brands, some costing more than $50 for a few ounces. This brand, Okay African Shea Body Butter, is by far the best value. While it is not pure white, as the high end brands say, or whipped to a frothy consistency like some, its effectiveness is just as good. The pale off-white/gray color is not offensive. And the shea butter softens as soon as you rub it. This is a great moisturizer for extremely dry skin, as long as you don't mind being a bit slippery for a while. I highly recommend it.

Get this natural looking one, instead of the Yellow one
Natural shea butter is my skincare! It’s rich, creamy, and melts effortlessly into the skin, leaving it deeply moisturized without feeling greasy. I love using it on dry patches, cracked heels, and even as a lip balm. It also works wonders for soothing irritation baby eczema.A little goes a long way, and since it’s 100% natural

Great Value
Great value. Keeps my skin moisturized throughout the day. Easy to use and feels great on my skin. I wish they had the cocoa butter version.

Great Product
I thought the amount of product should have been more for the price. I have been using a small amount and that does the job. It is a great moisturizer. I have been using it on my feet and have seen a great improvement.

Eczema magically calmed!
I have suffered with the miserable itch of eczema for years now. I have been applying this liberally to my skin multiple times daily, specifically in problem areas. I just got this on Tuesday, today is Friday, barely 4 days of use. One area of skin on my abdomen was discolored & hardened from years of scratching. The discoloration is now gone, skin is soft again & the area is almost completely healed. I still have problem itch areas, but it is not as controlling as it usually is. When it itches, I gently rub on more shea butter. I am really hoping that with continued use I can at least get the problem patches healed & under control. It has no real scent, kind of smells like plastic. Not a great smell, but not bad either. It is smooth & easily applied. It’s solid, but melts with friction/heat. Living in Texas & having ordered during summertime, mine was delivered as a liquid, but it was wrapped in airtight plastic & the container did not leak. My skin is so pretty & smooth now, so glad I found this. If you have eczema or even just dry, itchy skin - you need this stuff!

Works well
I’ve been trying to use less toxic products so I saw this recommended versus other lotions you buy. It is suuuuuper moisturizing! I don’t know if I’m doing soemthing wrong, but it’s hard to distribute/use and spread. It’s the consistency of how coconut oil comes and as you get some on your hands and warm it it smooths out and spreads, not quite like liquifying like coconut oil but dose soften. Then I personally think it has a strange strange smell. I don’t know what to even compare it to. It’s not a bad smell by any means but it’s a smell that makes me self conscious if others can smell it it’s almost like putty smelling I guess??? I don’t know like I said it doesn’t smell stinky or overwhelming, just a different smell I’m not use to or sure I like a lot.

I am NEVER going back to any other moisturizer!
I have used this every single day for the past two months and my skin had improved drastically. I've always had dry, cracked heels.. GONE. My legs are always itchy a day or two after shaving.. GONE. My lips tend to be dry... Uh GONE. I purchased two tubs. One I use as is and I can put it on everything. The other I whipped up with jojoba oil, cold-pressed rosehip oil, and rose extract. I can use that as a more oily moisturizer but I've even used it as a hair and scalp mask. I have Latina, 2b, and 3b hair ( different hair patterns ) dry scalp and My hair is bouncy, shiny, and soft! My scalp is so healthy and I have tried everything! The scent might be a little off-putting if you've never smelled real shea butter before. Imagine 1/2 butter, 1/2 almonds, and 1/2 peanut shells blended together and that's what it will smell like. Get this! This is the real deal

Good barrier… no healing properties
I am in healthcare and wash my hands 50-60 times each day. In the winter, the skin at the ends of my fingers crack and split which is very painful. This product provides a nice barrier but no healing properties. It doesn’t smell very good. Glad I got the small size, which is great for work, as a trial
