We bought 2 medium crates for our 2 large cats as we were doing a 5 day journey with them and wanted a box they could stretch out and stand up in, as well as see out of. The crates are sturdy, well made with no sharp bits, and they're easy to put up and down, takes about 30sec per cage and when folded down they resemble a briefcase. We made a few additions in each cage, with a bit of carpet stuck down with double sided tape (so the cats weren't sliding around on the plastic tray when we stopped or turned a corner) and a small box on it's side as a den to hide in. We kept a blanket on top incase things got scarey or they needed shade so we could cover them up. The cages were perfect for what we wanted and a good size, we can get both cats in one cage, which we did going in and out of the hotels, and would do so generally for short journeys. We did notice a rattling of the handles against the cage, whilst on the journey, but that was easy to fix with a bit of gaffer tape wrapped round each handle. The cages just fit through the car's back doors, we had them on the backseat, with the shorter ends facing the front and rear of the car, this meant they were nicely jammed in, esp with the rest of our luggage in there. But it wasn't too difficult to get a seatbelt threaded through some of the bars when we did trial runs.The cats liked them so much we've left one up with the door open as they like to sleep in it.We didn't use the divider that comes with the cage but it looks very easy to fit on.

For the price this is a really good crate. We were keen to get a crate that was flexible by opening at the side or the front and this one has that option. OK so there are a few sharp edges here and there but it hasn't caused us any problems and there aren't any on the inside. The plastic tray keeps the weight down for carrying. I'm pleased we purchased it as we did waver a little because it seemed too cheap and we weren't too sure what the quality would be like but we were pleasantly surprised. It does the job and our dog settles really well in it. I would have given it five stars if the sharp bits weren't there.

Construction was pretty straightforward but care needs taking to ensure all the sides are the right way up, and the right way around. Follow the instructions, and take your time to get it right first time, and it will take less than 15 minutes. Both the doors work well. This is a largish crate, certainly big enough for an adult miniature Schnauzer. The crate has a solid metal base - on to which you can put a pet blanket so your dog will feel at home. The carry handle is comfortable, well designed, and feels very secure. This is a good quality item. Quite impressed.

I bought this crate for my staffy pup. It was easy to put up and easy to clean. I only use the front opening in the house, but use 5he side one for in the car. It comes with a divider for use as your pup grows. I found this tricky at first to put on, but I quickly got the hang of it. I've only put 4 stars, as it didn't come with the crate training booklet or instructions that it said on the box. Other than that, a great 1st crate.

The puppy liked the crate as I put his toys one end and he slept at the other. He didn't like being locked into it very much though. It was easy to make into a crate from the folding position and easy to refold back into the folding position for storage. The two doors were very good on in the middle and one at the other end if you wanted to use the partition which it came with, I didn't use the partition wire bit as put toys up one end to make it smaller for the puppy to feel comfy in. Over all was happy with the purchase.

I got this to keep my cat in after he had an accident and had to have cage rest for 4 weeks. Whilst I found it hard to put up myself as it was quite heavy and you have to upclip all the sides which are very tight to unclip. Apart from that it is very sturdy and plenty of room for the cat, who is quite large, a litter tray and food bowls and a bed and enough room for him hopefully not to go mad but restrict his movements as instructed. Was delivery quickly as on Prime. Very pleased. Box said crate training manual included and it wasn't but didn't want it anyway.

Bought this as a gift for a friend who was taking her jack Russel to her in laws. Wee dog not allowed in house so we (my friend and i) decided that a crate would be good. Happy days. The little dog can go anywhere in the house in his cage. He loves it. No more sitting outside shivering in the cold. Bhaa humbug. Ok. Would not recommend this for an escape artist but for a calm little dog it is perfect. For my personal reasons I am awarding a 5 star cause it does the job that I intended it to do.

This cage has been so good for my needs, i work with feral kittens and tame them as a volunteer and the lightness of the cage, but its still strong and sturdy, two doors so i can get to grips with the litter and great locks on the doors easy to open and close not like some heavier cages. Easy to clean and versatile to use with the divider just in case we need to separate. Thank you i am just disappointed as i need a second one and it keeps saying out of stock.
