Works great.
My pond had been clear, so when it turned green I knew I needed a new bulb. It was the first time I had changed it. The directions were helpful. Pond was clear again in a few days.

Didn't quite fit
I bought a replacement bulb, the exact same bulb sold by AquaTop, for my AquaTop UV Sterilizer. I removed the old one and went to seat the new one, but it was just enough 'off' that it didn't fit well enough to work. Thinking I rec'd a dud, I ordered another one, the exact same one made by AquaTop. And had the same problem. Well, enough of that! I ended up having to buy a brand new UV sterilizer. Though I normally Like Aqua Top, I bought a different brand. Sorry AquaTop... but if you can't make your own bulb to fit and work like the original, then we have to part ways...

UV Replacement Bulb Size: 0.5" H x 6.8" W x 1" D
appears to be working like its supposed to so far..it was fairly easy to replace the bulb but the uv casing I noticed had been stained dark due to use and could not rub it off so that might decrease the effectiveness of the bulb...maybe the casing should be replaced as well

Couldn't get old one out even with directions. Ended up breaking in my hand.

Does what it's supposed to do
Does what it's supposed to do, however, I recommend the inline uv's as this one has a very small intake tube that clogs very easily. I guess for a fish tank it would be good but for an outdoor fish pond, spend a few extra bucks and get a different unit.
