HP-800 Black Monitor-Quality Classic Style Headphones

I got these headphone at the current reduced price and I must admit I'm impressed. The build quality is quite frankly over the top and screams premium, but we all know that what matters will mostly be sound and comfort. In terms of comfort I have a XXL head - I can rarely find hats that fit me let alone headphones. These headphones are a bit snug, but when the earpads warm up the memory foam becomes more maluable and with it comfort starts increasing. I have a few headphones I'd rate "A" in comparison comfort wise while these would be "C" - many outright fail. If you have a smaller head I can't imagine these being uncomfortable.In regards to the sound it's a bass leaning signature with a smooth treble that rolls off in a mostly linear fashion. Many people will find this sounds warm and enveloping, yet the bass is able to be extremely taught and authoritative. There is no distortion to speak of and overall just a really great sound given the price. Very similar tonally to my Denon D600, though with a little less of a V shape signature.Overall a pretty solid value leader - these were no brainer for my office headphones knowing I wouldn't cry if they came up missing while enjoying sound that normally costs a lot more.

I have previously owned a pair of NuForce's in-ear headphones, and was very pleasantly surprised by the clear and accurate sound they provide. When I saw that these over-the-ear headphones were available at an attractive sale price, it stimulated me to do some research.The reviews from reputable audiophile websites were definitely positive. One writer stated that these headphones could have been sold for $300, based on their sound quality. So I decided to give them a try. And I am very glad that I did.The first thing that struck me was their size. This is a large set of 'phones, not suitable for mobile use. But they are quite light and easy to handle, without feeling flimsy or fragile.They are comfortable, with the elastic inner head strap accommodating itself to the user's head size. The earpieces have thick, soft padding that stays comfortable through hours of wear. The only comfort issue is heat buildup inside the earpieces, which do not allow for air circulation.The sound is what really makes these headphones special. NuForce calls them "monitor-quality", and that is not an exaggeration. I listen to a wide range of musical genres. And the HP-800s provide clear, accurate and detailed sound on everything from soft acoustic folk music to jazz to the most raucous and distortion-heavy punk rock.They are by far the best headphones I have heard at anywhere near this price range.

Firstoff, real great headphones that sound quite wellPros:-very comfortable-weight, very light for a full sized headphone-build quality, respectably toughCons:-lower bass can sound a bit sloppyA very very nice and well sounding pair of headphones considering the price. You's d be a bit hard pressed to find anything of equal good sound at this price. The Hp-800 feature very cushy pleather earpads that should fit around most ears. Though if you are rather opposed to pleather earpads perhaps you should look past the hp800's as the pads can get a bit warm, but that's nothing a quick takeoff brake can't fix. Additionally the hp800's are indeed quite light with low clamp force which makes having them on for longer periods very achievable. The overall build quality of theses cans is fairly decent for their price. The actual earhousings themselves are a thin aluminum that has been nicely colored black with contrasting gold NuForce brands on each earhousing. The headband is plastic but exhibits none to very little creak. Also the headband is of the self adjusting type which I find works quite well but if you want exact control of headband extension these do not offer that. Now then for the sound I am by no means well versed in the sonic jargon used by most headphone and sound enthusiasts but I will try my best.Sound:Highs:-recessed-although present they take a back seat to the bass-recessed highs make the headphones sound a bit veiledMids:-more present than highs but there could be a bit more-male and female vocals sound alrightBass:-a lot-sounds fairy decent except for the deeper sub bass-sub bass can sound a bit uncontrolledOverall the bass-y sound signature is very fun to listen to and while it is dominant the rest of the spectrum is still present enough to not make it all sound like just some bass mess. Despite being a closed headphone with a slight veil to it the hp800's manage a little bigger than average soundstage, as far as closed headphones go that is. In the end these certainly are not a bad headphone to buy and are probably one of the best in their price group, just mind the bass heaviness and slight veiled sound.

Los compré alrededor de los $700MXN y son bastante buenos por el precio, son los que uso a diario por la claridad con la que se escucha todo. Se pueden identificar sonidos que con otros no, ya sea por los bajos o cosas (no soy un experto); aparte son muy cómodos. Lo único malo es que son un modelo algo viejo (2013) y pues no trae como audífonos actuales cancelación de ruido activa.

Questa cuffia suona veramente bene anche se devo ancora rodare bene si capisce già di che stoffa e fatta.suono caldo naturale con tutte le sfumature del sound stage al posto giusto accoppiate con amplificatore cuffie si completano molto bene.concludendo per la cifra sono ottime consigliate vivamente.
