No issues for me
Product was exactly what i though it would be. The side beams did stick out some but that's not a big deal at all. I don't understand why people are saying that it doesn't provide enough support. It definitely holds my daughter, my wife, and myself without problem. No issues with the color matching either. Great product.

Bed Rails Have Mounting Brackets!!
Great product. I high recommend this conversion. Judging by previous reviews of this conversion kit, I was sceptical that the conversion kit was a cheap/overpriced couple of 2x4's. Much to my surprise, the bed rails are of great quality. The main bed rails have a pre-installed bracket with aids in quick installation. I high recommend this product.

Flimsy, doesn’t match, too expensive.
This crib conversion system to full size bed is terrible. I should have known after we got the $100 toddler rail that was a flimsy piece of wood. First off, it’s expensive. We only bought it because we needed it and couldn’t find it in any stores as it’s not made anymore. We didn’t want to return it because it would be a hassle. So what did we do? Put it together and enforced the ridiculously flimsy crap pieces of wood with MORE pieces of wood at Home Depot. And the sides do stick out of the foot board. They tried to remedy it with different brackets... brackets for that particular problem but guess what? They STILL stick out. We also had to actually screw the original brackets into the foot board (make sure the screws are short enough to not go through the foot board if you plan on doing the same thing) so it would be sturdier. If you don’t reinforce everything, it shakes and I don’t want my 3 year old to sleep on something they could potentially collapse.

Cheap Material
The color/texture of the conversion kit does not match the color of the bed. The conversion kit is a very light gray almost off white and the crib is an actual true gray, a lot darker. Very cheap looking kit for the price. Hopefully it holds up. Buyer beware.

You just have to make it work
Some of the reviews are right. This is not at all okay to be sticking out like this. My boyfriend is in construction and said this is strange. This is not built right at all. We have our sons bed to one side of the wall so that’s the side that hides where the piece sticks out. The side that is out in the open, we made that side the one that is flushed. Very strange conversion kit. Highly highly highly recommended reading the directions but even so it just does not work out. We have the baby cache conversion crib so we know this set was specifically for our sons bed but please be careful before you buy this!!!!! It seems to be okay for now but I would never trust my son to jump on the bed or be rough. Not really happy. But we needed it I had no other option. We are telling my son not to jump on the bed or be rough. Update*** messaged seller and she really did help me with this purchase and communicated with me and that’s really important to me. I’m changing my stars to 5 because of this. Thank you.UPDATE: seller sent me extra slats and I added them. I feel much better and more secure with the bed now. Thank you!!!!

Buy from someone else! READ REVIEWS BEFORE PURCHASING!!!
We bought from this from Amazon (like we did for my other daughter's conversion kit) and didn't think there would be an issue. We got the conversion kit and put it together the next day. The instructions mention that the manufacturer drilled the holes in the wrong place so the slat does NOT sit flush against the footboard (see picture). How was this resolved? So they included additional extended brackets to remedy this situation. However, the new bracket sat flush against the footboard but the slat did not come in contact with the footboard what-so-ever. Because of this the bed rocked back and forth (like a swaying motion if you touched it). EXTREMELY UNSAFE. The bed also creaked LOUDLY when my daughter sat on it (33 lbs) because the bed wasn't sturdy.I wrote to the company that we bought from (as it says to) before writing a review to see if they can help. I explained the situation and was told numerous times that they didn't understand the issue and to use the additional brackets. The additional brackets are the cause for it being a law suit waiting to happen. My husband ended up using original brackets and attaching slat directly to footboard. Now we are left with 2 unfinished ends sticking out from the bed. Her bed is together so we don't have the option now of returning and buying from someone else.I was told they couldn't send any paint to help finish off the look, they wouldn't help remedy the situation because they couldn't understand the situation. I will take the rail (from the crib) and bring to home depot to match the paint and get a sample size for $5. The lady who runs the company (of 1) gave me $20 to buy more slats to help with the creaking noise when we sat on it. She sells the slats for $69.99. What a joke! I will get them from home depot for $40.GO THROUGH THE MANUFACTURER WEBSITE TO ORDER. At least they can hopefully help you more if you get a kit that has a manufacturer defect.

Conversion Kit for Bed
We got this conversion kit for my granddaughter's room and it looks great. She loves her new big girl bed and has been sleeping in it by herself most of the time :) My son and grandson put it together and it wasn't difficult at all.

Perfect/easy
Arrived on time and as expected. Incredibly easy to see up, coloring matched the original crib purchased 3 years ago perfectly. Seems to be very sturdy!
