I don't write too many checks these days, but when I need to, I have a preference for side-tear duplicate checks. The problem is that most wallets no longer have a flap that can work for this type of check. These vinyl protectors are exactly what I needed to slide behind where my checks go in my wallet and use the one piece to separate the duplicate set I'm currently using from the one beneath it (so it doesn't write on the duplicate that stays in the checkbook). These fill the need I had for them.

The description is accurate. They are more heavy duty than others I have had. Hopefully they will not split at the bottom. Based on appearances I think they will hold up better. At least there are 2 in the order, so if one does split I can immediately replace it without having to wait to place another order or find them somewhere else.

Fit my top-tear duplicates checkbook perfectly.Heavy material. Seems sturdy enough to last a good while.

I thought it was going to be too soft but it works great.

The plastic protector in my check book needed to be replaced so I was very happy to find these an Amazon. Works great and is extending the life of my checkbook.

Just what I needed for my duplicate checks, I have been using a lightweight cardboad which wold fall out of the checkbook.

Like the butterfly design on the cover and using to hold checks for a handmade checkbook cover and also second one for registrar
