Mad I waited so long to buy one
I was very skeptical that an off brand controller could be anywhere as good or better than the OEM xbox controller, especially for the same price ($55 as of Nov 25). Boy was I ever wrong. This thing destroys the cheap oem controller by leaps and bounds. I will say I don't think this controller works with a console, as I'm using it on a PC. Build quality is great, no creaks or unappealing noises. Everything feels and looks premium. Buttons: Love having short stroke clicky mechanical face buttons. Bumpers feel a lot nicer than OEM and quiet. The two extra buttons below the face buttons are normal (not mechanical), but you don't use them as much so it doesn't matter. This goes for the start, select, home and function buttons as well. Triggers: Never had any adjustable triggers before but man are they nice. Very nice travel and smooth on the long travel mode (No annoying noise either). Very fast clicky buttons on the short travel setting. Thumbsticks: Adjustable tension is amazing and I don't think I could go back. It's so easy to dial in your resistance to whatever your heart desires. They also feel like they have more travel than an OEM controller as well. I feel like I have to make more exaggerated movements, but that also equals more fine tuned control. The rubber grips are great and work well. I installed the software and that was easy and very customizable as well. Really I don't have anything to complain about with this controller. I would totally buy this over any other cheap/oem controller for sure. Flydigi has gained a loyal customer!

Phenomenal controller
Controller feels very comfortable and of solid construction. The extra two buttons below the ABXY are nice for extra mapping on as well as the back 4 buttons. The mechanical buttons have that nice “clicky” feel. Adjustable thumb stick resistance is also very nice and the Hall effect makes stick drift non existent. Will definitely get another fly digi in the unlikely event this breaks. Incredible value, way better than an Xbox elite.

Solid Controller, Just Don't Rely on the 2.5g wireless connection
I've had this thing for a few months now and honestly? It's pretty good for the price. Been using it mainly for Devil May Cry 5, Battlefield 6, and Killer Instinct on PC. **The Good Stuff** The buttons feel amazing — like, actually responsive and satisfying to mash. And that tension dial on the analog sticks is chef's kiss. You can literally twist it mid-game to tighten up the controls if you need more precision or loosen them for faster movement. That's actually genius and I haven't seen many controllers do that. The back buttons are super useful too — I find myself remapping them for different games depending on what I need. And the trigger modes are honestly one of the best features here. I switch between different modes depending on what I'm playing (precision shooting in BF6 vs rapid button mashing in Killer Instinct) and it actually makes a noticeable difference. The build quality feels way more premium than a standard Xbox controller too — like, noticeably better materials and construction. **The Annoying Part** The 2.4G wireless range is hot garbage though, not gonna lie. I've got a 2-story house and the connection drops even when I'm directly above my PC on the second floor. Not ideal if you're trying to game on a different display upstairs without interruptions. There's a lot of WiFi interference from other devices in the house that seems to mess with the dongle. I ended up just connecting it wired when I'm doing intense gaming sessions to avoid the disconnect spam. **But Actually Works Great on Bluetooth** The Bluetooth connection though? Solid. I use it on my tablet with Moonlight streaming from my PC and it's been rock solid. Way more reliable than the dongle. **Bottom Line** Good controller with responsive buttons and that awesome stick tension feature. Just skip the WiFi and go Bluetooth or wired. If you don't mind the connectivity workaround, it's definitely worth grabbing.

Excellent
I was a little skeptical and bit worried, since the last time I bought 3rd party controllers they were the kind of thing you'd give your little brother to use while you kept the good one for yourself. My last two Microsoft-made Xbox Series X controllers were fine at first, but one developed stick drift after a few months of use and another that I bought fairly recently has a problem when playing No Rest For the Wicked where holding the A button to run results in double-taps instead of registering as being held sometimes. Irritating little quality control issues that aren't game breaking, but are annoying enough that you shouldn't have them happening for the price those things sell for. So I bought the Vader Pro 4. I haven't had it for months to know the longevity of it, but after a couple of days of heavy use I can say that it's definitely a better controller than the 1st party ones, and that's amazing enough in its own right. Likely because of the higher polling rate, the sticks are more precise, so walking the little tightrope ledges in-game is much easier just because I changed controllers. No more A-button double taps on running, and even what I thought was a game issue where the controls were a little unresponsive at times turned out to be my old controllers and not the game at all. The software was easy enough to use, although what I was supposed to download was a bit unclear since the documentation is a bit lacking (it's the FlyDigi Space Station software, fyi). Turning on the controller wasn't in the instructions, either, which was just holding down the little Home button by the right thumbstick. It worked immediately with no downloads and no setup, right out of the box on Windows 11. The main thing I wanted the software for was the turn down the obnoxious LED lighting on the controller, which was thankfully easy (and it offers quite a few customization options, for those who want that). It also lets you bind the paddle buttons on the back of the controller easily, although I don't use them much. The only complaint I have is that I don't like the positioning of the Start and Select buttons. It doesn't take too long to get used to them, but they're a bit awkwardly placed compared to the 1st party controller and they're not very tactile so they never feel quite right. To make it a little worse, there doesn't seem to be any real reason to have moved them; there's nothing on the controller blocking them from being positioned the same as the 1st party controller. Everything else is great; the sticks feel perfect, the buttons feel good, the D-pad is actually way better than the 1st party controller, the battery life seems to be very good... all around, I'm really impressed. I'm a little surprised to say so, but this thing was actually worth the money. It's just an outright better controller than Microsoft's. It has the feel and features of Microsoft's Pro controller, while being way less expensive. I'll probably buy another one in the near future.

Amazing
I’m a hardcore gamer for 25+ years. I invest all kinds of gaming accessories including controllers. I have the PS5 Elite, Xbox Elite, Game Sir controllers, and others. This controller is lightweight, all of the buttons and D-pad feel amazing with the mouse click tactile feel, and the software customization options are vast for fine tuning up to 4 profiles for different game types. I used it wired on the pc, but wirelessly on phone and console and it’s super responsive. The extra 6 buttons and gyroscope are the cherry on top. The adjustable thumb stick tension is very convenient and should be a standard feature on controllers. I guess if I had to find something wrong, I’d say that after a few weeks of gaming, the thumb stick tension seems to get looser when you adjust it somewhere in the middle, and I have to tighten back to the desired tension. If it’s fully loose or fully tight, it maintains though. Super pleased and happy that I was able to raise the bar on my controllers features without raising the price tag!!! Would 100% purchase a Flydigi controller again due to the value, build quality, features at a good price point. In an era where some hard drives and controllers cost 1/2 to 1/3 of the price of the console itself, it’s a welcome addition!

Best Xbox controller
I’ve used many Xbox and ps5 controllers, but this is one of the best controllers for gaming. The controller has the right amount of space between the two ends so your arms aren’t tucked in tight. The triggers are perfectly clicky like a mouse and the trigger stops are awesome to reduce the travel distance, especially in FPS games where you want to get shots off faster and be more precise. The buttons are all clicky like a keyboard and feel well put together. The highlight is definitely the joysticks with the ability to customize the stiffness. It makes aiming so much more precise and having the ability to loosen it for more casual gaming is really nice. The controller has a couple different way to connect like Bluetooth or dongle which makes it versatile. Has pretty good battery life, isn’t too heavy, and feels well built. I’d highly recommend this over other options for the price and features.

My #1 pro controller
For the price, it's very high quality (was on sale). The build quality of the controller is solid with a nicely textured grip. The a/x/b/y buttons feel tactile and comfortable with slight pre-travel. The most outstanding feature on the controller is the built in tension adjustment for the joysticks. It's easy and intuitive to use. Although the joystick tension will not be the first thought that comes to mind, it's pretty unique amongst the controllers that I've had, and it allows for the luxury to individually fine-tune the feeling of your directional input and your aim. Lastly, there are four remappable back buttons that I use for the joysticks and a/y keys. They are easy to reach without interfering with my grip on the controller. Overall, I'd say this controller has great value for its worth.

Amazing sticks and triggers, disappointing D-Pad
TLDR: If you don't need a precise D-Pad, this will give you just about the best sticks and triggers available in a good feeling package. Face buttons are clicky and might bother some—it's a matter of taste. The good: - Thumbsticks are perfect. The adjustable stick resistance is a great feature. - Triggers are really nice, love the ability to have analog and binary behavior in one device - Size, weight, and hand feel are all good. Product feels premium. - Multiple methods of connection are available and all work perfectly. Seamlessly works on both PC and Nintendo Switch. The Bad: - The circular D-Pad feels clunky and unrefined (for me, at least). It's far too easy to press diagonals accidentally compared to a plus-shaped design. - Face buttons feel great but produce very noticeable clicks, similar to many gaming mice. This might be distracting to some people. Overall great... if I could get this with a plus-shaped D-Pad and maybe slightly quieter buttons, I'd buy several and never want for another controller.
