I like dual purpose items to save space and money. I was looking for a smart wall alarm clock and found this. Instructions are incomplete and you tube video is worse. To get the display to give time info, you must take out the tab that is behind the battery. I was sent a replacement lamp due to mine was thought to be defective. Also unclear, is you have to long press the +, - to get it to dim. Thought that broke too. So I figured it out on my own. This lamp will work well on makeup tables where others will get in the way. It's a great night light, too using the display or by dimming the lamp. I bought a wifi extender to help, and since our router has 2 names, the 5g and 2g, you have to be careful.

Likes: Having Alexa control, multiple levels of brightness, adjustments of warm to cool color, and the clock and temp information is helpful.Dislikes: The clock is excessively bright and cannot be adjusted, so using it on a bedside table is problematic. And the thing that baffles me is that the unit connects to, and can be controlled by WiFi... But canNOT seem to be able to set the date and time from the internet. Nope. That most basic function has to be done manually. It just seems silly. And for some reason I thought the weather would actually be weather information. It's just the temp of the room... And isn't really that accurate.

It's a nice light, which is why I'm going to keep it. As far as the calendar and thermometer goes, all I have is a blue screen. The instructions included with the lamp don't quite match what you need to do to set up the blue screen and how to define ithe lamp to your wireless network. I have my house nearly completely set up with Alexa products, they're toys to me. However, I can't even get this thing linked up with wireless, nevermind Alexa. My biggest complaint is that it wants to know your location. Really? It needs my location to turn on a lamp? So, I needed a lamp and that's all the one I received is good for. I'll keep it for the light it produces but I most certainly do not recommend that anyone else buy it. Quality control is just not there before it leave the factory.

So this desk lamp is pretty cool. You can ask Alexa to turn it on, adjust the brightness or the white warmth or coolness. There's also manual controls.It displays the time, date, and temperature. The temp seems to be a degree or too cooler than what my ecobee sensor tells me, but it's no biggie.It's plenty bright enough and I usually run it at about 75% brightness.Basically works well, does what it's supposed to and I'm very happy with this purchase.

It works decent when it does. When it breaks, it completely falls off the network and needs to be reinstalled from scratch. This seems to happen monthly and is my only smarthome product that does this. The other gripe about this is the way brightness levels are calibrated. If I ask Google Home to turn light brightness to 10%, this lamp will just turn off.

I love the different shades of light that you can use. However I did not like and am still struggling with how to set it up with my Alexa, which was obviously a reason that I purchased this lamp.

I have a ton of "smart things" in my house. When it came time to replace my desk lamp i decided to make it 'smart' as well. I purchased this lamp, it looks great its very bright and functions as a light well. When it came time to pair it and set it up as as a smart light it would not pair with the app. I have spent hours trying to make it work, following the instructions and it will still not work. Now that it wont pair the power button continues to blink green and is annoying. If i can not get it to pair tonight i will be returning it this weekend.

Very nice modern slim style lamp, i like the different light temperatures and the dimmer function. Works well with Alexa after you have added it to the Smart Life APP which you add by taping the 'other device' within the numerous items the app supports. You can also in the same app have it on a schedule to have it turn on and off.
