I have been using this download from Amazon for a few years now, however I was a little hesitant when I went to buy it, as the little box at the top of the page said you have purchased this product 4 times before. So straight away I assumed this was an old version, and not an up to date 2021 version, (i.e I thought I was purchasing old software from years ago). However, I went ahead, because I realised that McAfee update the software every time I power any device on. I was not disappointed. This version is even better than I have previously had, with more add ons than before. As I said I already had it on my devices, and I thought I would have to remove the old version, but the new installation does this for you. I just went to McAfee.com/activate, entered the passkey, gave permissions and off it went doing it's thing! Such an easy process, the only thing to note is that each device has to be restarted, after installation. I have it in my laptop, tablet, mobile, p.c tower, and my partner has it in all his devices. I have never had any problems with it, and all devices appear safe. This is terrific value, considering it protects 10 devices for £12.99 ~ and McAfee price it much higher!! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product, very pleased.

I already had McAfee Total Protection and the annual subscription was up for renewal. Having been stung by McAfee's expensive automatic renewal process in the past I had turned off the auto renew function so I could do it manually.If I had renewed directly through McAfee, they wanted US$169 as their default was to upgrade to something I didn't need. I could have switched to a lower package for US$69 or bought the full Total Protection package download direct from McAfee for £69.I opted instead to get the very same Total Protection 2019 download from Amazon for just under £21 which covers up to 10 devices (other options are available for 1, 3 or 5 devices). This is the exact same product that I was already using which simplifies the process. (It automatically updates to the latest version so I started 2 years ago with the 2017 version which has updated a few times). It's a digital download and Amazon sent an activation code by e-mail within 2 minutes.I was half expecting to have to remove and re-download the software on all my devices as payback for being too tight to pay the auto renewal fee but thankfully that was not the case. I just followed the instructions to activate the code using my existing McAfee account and it immediately updated the subscription across all registered devices. Really quick and simple.They tell you it can take a day or two for the new expiry date to appear on all devices but you can refresh it manually, which I did, and it all worked perfectly.One thing to remember though is when you renew the subscription, it re-sets the renewal option to automatic for next time and McAfee process the auto renewal a month or two early just to catch you out. If you want to avoid that happening you need to go into settings to switch off the auto renewal function every time you renew. There's no way you can forget about it because you get reminders popping up every day from about 2 months before renewal date.Yes McAfee have some questionable business practices but the product works and keeps my devices secure.

Bought it to cover a 12 moths old Dell all in one computer, two Apple Ipads and two Android mobiles. A little bit fiddly to install on all of them as couldn't always get up the app. Probably that was down to me. I'm sure its doing everything that's needed as haven't had any nasties and get pop-ups saving that emails and browsing been checked out. Very good value and worth installing

My McAfee was about to run out and so I started the process to renew........I clicked the renew option (on the app) and bam.....£50 WHAT!.......(I payed under £20 when I first purchased it). So I decided to look around......on the official McAffee website they wanted £60!........PC world were way cheaper (coming in at same price as Amazon) but they dont offer code key via email anymore!? So with postage and you have to wait (I don't drive and don't live near a store to collect easily) I continued my search............So I found myself back at Amazon........couldn't believe the price difference and code key via email available!.......So after reading reviews decided to go for it.Found it very easy to install......Email comes through with code and link.Download and install.....I already had a version on there so it auto detects and uninstalls, then reinstalled new version. (Needed to restart system to continue install)Entered code key somewhere along the steps (can't remember when)And doneREMEMBER to go into options and unclick AUTO RENEW......its way cheaper just buying like new, you will save loads.Added all my devices easily, click add device from app, send email with link to that device, and then, using the device, follow instructions to install.Couldn't be happier with product and service, never had a issue......and for the price.......well.......I was not going to pay x3 more for the same thing.Recommend(From past experiences with installments, if you are having trouble installing, make sure any previous versions have been removed. The second time I ever installed McAfee I had the problem with errors, cant instal etc.....manualy uninstall previous version, install new one and it worked.)

Great product for a great price. The previous product needed removing prior to installing this one but the installation process was simple enough, after, I went onto my account to deactivate the auto renewal because I prefer to shop for a competitive price.I received blue FAKE Mcafee pop ups on my laptop telling me to renew or accept risks of viruses, and during installation, I received a phone call in which the caller told me I was installing McAfee and that I was having problems with installing it. I told the person that everything was going fine, he then asked me if I was sure? Then he hung up. The number he rang from was San Francisco. The reason I have mentioned this is because the same happened a year ago when I was installing McAfee on another laptop and they accessed the laptop. My advice is if you need help installing McAfee you can ring their free number, don't accept 'help' from scammers like I did.

Pease do not buy this mcafee total protection , I bought the E mail option and where the code was sent to my e mail address , I logged onto the mcafee website and put my code in , a big red box appeared on my screen saying there was an error installing this code as my computer was out of date , so there were 2 helpline numbers to call , one in the uk and one in the USA , so I called the number and spoke to who I thought was a mcafee customer service advisor , he told me not to worry and he could help , he ended up doing something so he could show me the problem on my computer , he had control of my mouse and proceeded to show me a screen showing I had loads of viruses , he then told me that mcafee could fix it and told me the prices £500 😱😱😱😱he wanted for a hours work and it would be like new and run faster , I was mortified , I told him there was no way I was paying that , I asked him to get off my pc which he he did and would speak to my husband , he then kept ringing me back later that day insisting I needed to do this , I told him no , he rang the next day again i to,d him no , I’ve reported this to macafee who told me this is a scam and I now have a ref number with regards to this issue , I’ve had to close my online banking and change passwords for everything , I’ve reported this to Amazon and got a refund , so please be careful this is not acceptable when you think you are buying a genuine product !

We needed a new anti virus as our current one was due for renewal, this was the cheapest on the market at the time.It was easy to install and setup, done a complete scan of our laptops, which did take a rather long time I must admit. After the full scan it reported a few items our old anti virus did not catch, so far it has blocked a few connection attacks on our laptops, something you would think our network provider would block or at least the router.It runs faster than our previous anti virus which is always a plus, the user face is simple to use and navigate, some of our previous anti viruses we found to be rather laggy and often crashed or just hung for a long time before Windows popped up and said it was not responding, so far McAfee has not slowed down our laptops, lagged out or hung to the point Windows asks us do we want to wait or close the application.All in it’s plus from us, easy to use, easy to navigate and found several items our previous software did not detect.

It served my purpose. Good and excellent.
