Now this is what Licorice Pastels should taste like. The coating has excellent flavor and just the right amount of crunch. The licorice inside is just right, again excellent flavor. Watch out, these are so good that if you do not pay attention to your consumption, half the bag will be gone in no time at all. That being said, they are expensive to say the very least. Like most things in life, you get what you pay for.

This are by far my favorite licorice pastels. Jelly Belly's have a bit of a spicy flavor that I don't like. The guy who started Marich used to work for Jelly Belly's.
