Really needed this for my pooch!
My yard crew had shredded my brand new gutter downspouts, plus they were super sharp edges to begin with - my new pooch couldn't stay away from them for some reason - only dangerous things in my yard I guess - these solved the problem and covered those sharp edges to keep them pet safe - great product, really needed them! Not that hard to attach, you could flatten the edges of the downspout ends a little if you like, does make it easier but I didn't think the extra effort was necessary - I did have to replace the old elbows due to the careless mowers, but these will hopefully protect my pet and keep it from happening again - at least as quickly.

Don’t fit
These were too large for my 3x4 downspouts. I put them on the outside of the downspouts instead of around the corrugated edge. They were easy to install on outside, solves problem of debris catching on rubber edge and gives gutter clean finished look. We’ll see how this works out. They are too expensive

Just what I was looking for. Looks good on the downspout and adds some safety. Was a little bit difficult to put on though, I don't know if I could have done it if I was not already replacing that bottom metal piece of the downspout at the same time.

These fit standard downspouts just fine. Yes
These fit standard downspouts just fine. Yes, it is tight, but it's supposed to be. It helps to flatten out the ripples in the downspout first with a pliers. Great product.

Great idea, not great product
I was excited to get these because it would add a nice touch to the front yard downspouts on our new gutters.The plastic is somewhat hard plastic but not completely rigid and not very flexible. Tried softening with the hairdryer and that helped but the best I could do was get it on the top edge of the downspout. We could not get it on the side edges or bottom of downspout and after several attempts over several days finally gave up trying. Disappointing!
