Modern One Line a Day: A Five-Year Memory Book

This is a lovely alternative to writing a full diary, and I'm really impressed with the product itself.The page edges are lined with faux gold like old books, and the colours are really beautiful (they're less bright, more pastel, than they are in the photo which suits me perfectly). The inside covers are lined with a watercolour splash blue pattern, and the pages themselves are also patterned which is a lovely extra touch.Every page is for one day of the year, with spaces for you to add in which year it is that you're writing. This means as you fill it in you'll be able to read what you were doing on that day a year, two, three etc beforehand. It also means you can buy it and gift it whenever as it doesn't have to be started on a specific date.It's also a nice size (relatively compact), it has a ribbon for you to keep your place so you don't have to flip through every day, and the product feels well finished rather than cheap. This would make a really lovely gift for someone you're never sure what to buy for, or for yourself like I did!

Was given one of these as a gift and enjoyed it so much I have since purchased several for friends. A great way to capture highlights of the day without needing time or effort to write a whole diary

Exactly as described. I have seen some reviews stating there is scribbles on some pages but I actually think it’s the design. Doesn’t affect how the book works at all

Great idea, planning to use for the following 5 years! This is about A6 size, there are about five lines on each day. This gives you space to write a couple of sentences to sum up your day, but you have to write pretty small. The paper quality is nice, the pages have the same coloured design as the cover (but faded). The gold edging is nice.

Nice colourful pattern on inside and outside. Small and compact (tennis ball in photo for scale) so not recommended if you want to write long journal entries but there’s enough space to write a short summary of the day. Makes a good present. The spine was slightly scuffed/damaged when it arrived but nothing too noticeable.

Was slightly concerned after reading other reviews saying the paper isn't great quality as I like to write with fountain pens and with thinner paper the ink just bleeds straight through. Not the case here! The pattern on the paper does mean some parts take longer for the ink to dry on but so far no bleeding through. Yes the lines are small and there's only room for two short sentences but that's the idea of the book. It's only supposed to be snippets of the day for you to look back on. Really enjoying using this and hope I can keep it up for the full 5 years!

I ordered this for a friend but have had mine for 4 years now and I treasure this diary so much. It has so much value and because there are a couple of lines for each day it’s easy to fill out every day and is not time consuming. I think it’s amazing to look back on each year and compare what you have been doing and feeling. I believe it’s a great gift.

I have tried to journal over and over in fanciest notebook I would find, but never have I been able to stay consistent. I am still not 100% there yet, but it definitely helps. With this, 'I want to' journal, which is a big change for me.
