Cloth scapulars give me allergies.I've been told that the Catholic Church prefers cloth ones but this is just one thing I'm going to have to go against. It's that or cloth scapulars will make me remove them every now and again. Since I had this blessed I never took it off. And I was also told, you have to have it always on.Even when swimming. I'd tie my swimsuit over it so it won't fall off. Works everytime.It's so light, you forget you have it on.

I had issues with fabric scapulars as they produced me rashes, and the ones made of silver required maintenance otherwise turned dark.2018/12/26 UPDATE: Still rocking and looking as good as new after almost 2 years of daily use (and abuse), taking it off only to shower and sleep (sometimes I sleep with it). No rashes, stains or marks so far.Side note: Catholic Church recommends a fabric scapulary, but other materials are allowed, so this is great for people with fair delicate skin.

As others have stated; a scapular should be cloth, wool when possible. Metals are substituted for those with allergies or see uncommon wear in professions like the military. To be a true scapular this should be blessed by the appropriate person and never removed after taken off.I am not wearing this as a true scapular, but instead as a reminder of what wearing one means. I wore a true scapular for years but after some issues at my local church I stopped. Now I would like to get back to where I was at that time, and I feel like this reminder helps me with that.I looked at other metals, but this was by far the best choice for me. While I wear this under my shirt, I included a photo above so that you can get an idea of how long the chain is. Length and price is what made me choose this metal. The detail on the stamp is fantastic, and the weight of the metal and chain are great. I have been wearing this continuously for over a month with zero problems, including while sleeping and bathing.

Finally a scapular that’s able to be worn 24/7, without discoloring, breaking, or getting lost when changing garments. I absolutely love this scapular! The metals are very tiny, maybe 3/4” and beautifully made in full colors that haven’t faded. Likewise the medals and chain are still in perfect condition, even after being continually worn for the past two months. I always get a rash from any type of metal next to my skin, but absolutely not with this beautiful scapular. I wear it always, even while showering.

I love it. I was skeptical about buying it at first since I thought sterling silver would be better. But I'm Glad I bought it. It came in a little plastic box with a prayer card. I just tightened the jump rings alittle but its sturdy. Haven't taken it off since I got it a few weeks ago. Wore it to sleep and to shower and it still looks great. Color hasn't changed.

Very beautiful scapular. The images of the Jesus and Mary are detailed! Wonderful quality and has held up well over the past few months of wearing it. It does come with a prayer card too. I love the light nature of this scapular. I cannot wear a wool one due to an allergy so I was so happy to come across this one.

I had another one that broke several times and needed repairs to the point that it got too short to fit over my head properly. And I like the metal ones so much better than the brown ones. I hope our Blessed Mother doesn't mind me taking the liberty of improvising on her design!

Bought this scapular for my husband's birthday last July, and the Jesus stamping has fallen out three times. I had super glued it back in, and just fell out again, and is now lost. It is a nice alternative to cloth scapulars, but the design needs reworking. Have contacted the seller about their return policy.
