Remo Doumbek (DK251065)

At first, I wasn't sure if I would like it. However, after playing it, I was hooked. Sure, its not an Egyptian-made darbuka, but it sounds decent for the price I paid. Perhaps it could have been 25 bucks cheaper...and thus the 4 star review, but overall the sound is pretty good. When I get better at playing, I may move up to an Egyptian darbuka with a Remo skin. Overall, I am well pleased with this purchase.

Love it! This is a great beginner drum. I’m not ready to invest in a drum with a natural skin drumhead, and this doumbek is perfect for hauling around to drum circles held outside in humid weather. Sturdy, lightweight, gorgeous colors. Super easy to replace the head when needed. I love the wide playing area of the drumhead. I highly recommend this style for beginners (great price, durable, easy maintenance). Arrived in a timely manner, securely packaged with very little waste. Drumming is good for the soul! Buy a drum and bang on it! No experience necessary 🤗

Easy to hold and play. 'Appreciate the non-animal skin use. 'Sound is great!

I am sure many would love this drum. I have small hands and found the drum rim to bulky. I did return it.
