I have been using the adapter everyday since I received it. I have a Google Pixel 2 XL and the only port is the type c socket. The original adapter was broken then I found this and it's a perfect replacement.Overall, it's in good quality. The sound is as good as the original adapter, and there's no delay. Today I find it will work with the new iPad pro 2018 same well. So I am excited to give this review. It worth all five stars absolutely.

Item does not function as advertised. The USB-C charging port works. The 3.5mm headphone port also works, but does not function if a charger is also plugged in. I bought two of these, neither allowed simultaneous use of the charging port with the 3.5mm port. I contacted the seller to get some advice; they sent me two more units. They did not perform as described either. It's unfortunate because they seem well-made. I returned them all for a full refund.The seller was completely reasonable and easy to work with, so +1 star for that.For reference, I was using this with my Motorola Z Force.

Small, simple, well-built, sounds great. I am going to buy a couple more! Using with my Motorola Z Force.Edit: I am now using this in the interface with the Alpine CDA-9833 head unit in my old Jeep. I am extremely happy with the results, the music is just as clean as if it were coming straight off a CD. If you get muddy sound while using this, maybe take a closer look at the resolution of the source material you are trying to play.

False advertising.. Does it charge and audio output (3.5mm) for headphones? No. Does it charge? No. Does it audio output? No. No even a good paperweight. Worked great when it first arrived. Rapid charging on my Pixel 3 & clear audio. But, less than 2 weeks of use, the USB charger stopped working - kept turning on & off, with clicking sounds through my car speakers. The AUX only works when the USB is unplugged, which makes the item useless to me. Was going to return it, but ended up giving it to a friend who needed the AUX adapter.

Works 100% on my Essential PH-1. Sounds good with music headphones, works just fine with calls, can charge at the same time. Charging reports "Charging Rapidly"

I was a little worried I was making yet another purchase that would fail to accept headphone output from the pixel2 while also charging the phone, but this one delivers! It has been working quite well for months now, and i'm pretty satisfied.The pass-through from a charger does seem to reduce the charging speed quite a bit. While your phone will still display "Charging rapidly" I can tell you it is definitely NOT doing that. However, if you are sitting there for a while listening to music while charging, it will probably get the job done - I recommend a good phone stand, and remember to plug in the charger ;)

Not durable enough for my usage. If I'm at work and I have my phone in my pocket with a lot of movement, eventually the part of the wire near the connector to the phone becomes work out and the audio starts cutting in and out. I can't keep buying these constantly. I'm switching to some that are braided and hopefully the sound quality is similar or better to these.

Excelente. Inclusive si tu celular ya tiene audio jack de 3.5mm, el sonido que te da este aparato es mejor que cualquier Samsung, por ejemplo. Lo uso en el auto para solo tener que conectar el usb c y poder cargar el celular y tener audio.
