Stop wasting your lactose free milk! Also, great travel companion.
My son is mostly lactose intolerant. —He can handle only very small amounts. This milk is a shelf-stable version of your lactaid or fairlife grocery store staple. It’s also almost twice as much milk as the 8oz bottles that run for $7 for the 6 packs. We spend $5/6 gallon on lactaid, but $4/5 per 52oz on Fairlife these days. Sometimes your store has neither! While these milks are stable before opening a lot longer, they really do sour about 7 days after opening. So we are often wasting some of the gallons for my son, etc.I like that these can go on our camping trips and we don’t have to worry about whether we will spoil any or be unable to find them in podunk stores while traveling. I also like that I can always have some at home when the grocery stores are out of our usual. Is it stupid expensive to me? Yes. Do I pay the same for my protein drinks? Yes. Is it a “fair life” that my son has to pay so much more for a milk that he can tolerate? Not really. But that’s a first world problem for the most part. Especially since he doesn’t “need” milk, he just loves it.There’s so much less sugar in these lactose free milks that it is at least a healthier way to get a craving in. Even their chocolate milk is significantly less sugar than “regular chocolate milk.”I know a lot of people think milk is healthier than soda, but not necessarily. This milk is much healthier—my nutritionist suggests everyone make their protein drinks with it.I can’t afford all the extra all the time. But it is nice to have on-hand and the flavor is really great. It’s always been a bit smoother and creamier than say 2% regular milk. Must be that ultra filtered thing.Shipping was fine. Expiration date and taste were fine. We will repurchase from this seller again when they aren’t price gauged on supply and demand.

Not a single compliant!
I've ordered this 2x in the span of 1 month now and have since set up for subscription. I was originally looking for Milk that was instant but did not need to be refrigerated until opened. Most shelf stable milk leaves a chalky taste behind, to me. I was having a hard time finding something in a single serving as well, so I wouldn't have to open it, and not be able to use the entire contents. Then I found these here and now my life has changed! I don't have to go downstairs to the fridge if I want cereal or mac n cheese in my bedroom anymore (I have a roommate I can't be around all the time). The only compromise is that it won't be refrigerator cold, just room temp. But I have rare kidney disease and cold liquid sometimes causes me pain, so this is not an issue for me--maybe others; nothing a mini fridge wouldn't solve, if I chose to.I can get the nutrients that I need from milk, plus enjoy the foods I like, which require milk... It tastes so fresh, every single time... And even though it says it's low fat, it doesn't taste watered down like some is the major brands skim milk does. The only thing I would add with regard to taste, is that I detect the teeniest hint of sweetness. But again for me, it's been perfect! And finally, with the pricing research I have done so far, I have found it to be in-line with, if not lower than Walmart, Costco and other competitors.(I have not compared prices, nor purchased any of their flavored milks yet)

Good Pure Milk
Being from Chicago I was probably one of the first group of folks to try, and fall in love with, fairlife milk.First it was the amped up nutritional profile...has more of what I need and less of what I don't need.Next, I really like that it's filtered, especially after learning more about what milk can have in it.This is the first time I've seen it in a shelf stable option. Boy, am I happy! Often get snowed in for weeks at a time, and this is the perfect size for a week of coffee.Tastes great in cereal, too.

Conflicting advertising, but convenient product
Tastes the same as regular Fairlife milk. I was skeptical since it doesn't need refrigeration until opened, which makes it convenient. My one complaint is that the description states "low fat" (1%), but the picture shows "reduced fat" (2%). I trusted the description, and hoped for 1%, but it turned out to be 2%. That being said, I am still pleasantly surprised that it tastes like regular Fairlife, but can be stored without the need for refrigeration.UPDATE: Since my first review, I should clarify that I only used this milk on flavored cereal, and noticed no discernable difference in taste or texture to regular Fairlife milk. However, I finally tried drinking it straight, and noticed a distinctive sweet vanilla flavor, even though this was the unflavored white milk. Not necessarily bad, but not to my liking. I still appreciate the convenience of non-refrigerated shelf storage, but now plan to only use it as a backup for cereal.

Seems to have enough lactase protection for those whom are lactose intolerant.
This version has lactase enzyme, and often companies skimp. Which is bad. This product seems pretty good and consistent against lactose. The taste is a step down from normal cold milk but works if the milk is combined with something else such as cereal or coffee. Bonus: Has a bit of a shelf life unopened / unrefrigerated. Long term it should last a long time in the freezer. I froze a bottle and the design did not break open when frozen.

Unbelievably Delicious!
I was a bit apprehensive about shelf stable milk, and my preset notion was that it just couldn't be that good. Boy, was I wrong! I had to put one in the fridge just to sample. It was icy cold the next day and wife and I put it to the test- it gets high grades! So rich and smooth, as yummy as any fresh, organic milk that I have had. Living on an island is one of the reasons I like to have this as a backup. Between storms, tsunamis and now new concerns, I would highly suggest this as an excellent add to your emergency food supplies. It's so good, I will resist the temptation to throw a few more in the fridge. As a side note, I received these at the end of March and they are good through September, plenty of standby time!
