High quality feeling plastic, a good balance between smoothness and grip. Fits the device 98% perfectly - the only slight lack of perfection is below the screen where it dips about 1mm, but no one would notice it unless they are looking for it. The kickstand definitely doesn't feel super sturdy, but is handy for setting it on a desk or table when you need, and it locks up/out nicely so far. The price is quite fair. Note this is sold by a zillion different brands on Amazon, I'm assuming they are all the same thing coming out of China, so get whatever is cheapest/best shipping options.

Despite reading that the kickstand would break instantly, mine surprisingly did not break. The products fits my handheld perfectly and the kickstand seems to be working properly. The only issue is that when the system heats up, you can smell the rubber. Either way, the kickstand is useful so I can play my games with my controller.

Please be careful when pulling out the stand. Only had it for a month and I’ve already broken it. Other then that it’s a very solid product.

There are a million listings for this case, but they're all the same thing. So just order it from whoever has the best price at the time. For me it was CDCHGAM. Case fits great, provides great protection for what it covers. There's even a neat little mod out there on Reddit where a guy takes the DBrand travel cover for the Legion Go S and makes it fit with this case to cover the front, so you get a great all in one cover solution that's incredibly slim. Highly recommended for Claw 8 ai + owners, not that we have many options lol

Fits well with good grip. Kickstand works but a bit delicate to open but works well.

At the time I'm writing this review (6/11/25), none of the reviews for the case are from verified purchases. All of the positive reviews are from people who received the product for free ("Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product"), so take them with a grain of salt. I bought this case for my Claw 8 AI+, because there really aren't a lot of options available for it. It does provide some protection from bumps and scratches for the rear of the unit (except the middle where it has a cutout for the MSI logo). The kickstand works fine, but it is made out of thin plastic, so I doubt it'll last very long. The worst part of the protector case is in the front near the LB/RB buttons; the TPU there is very thin and doesn't fit right, so you end up with a very slight gap between the plastic and the case (see picture) if you just tap it gently (see pic). For $20, you obviously can't expect perfection, but at least it's better than nothing.

Must have for my device. Still keeps it light weight but adds a lot of grip.

Missing a piece of the kick stand so it wont hold the device up - the part that makes it a-framed. Bad QA
