Nice little forge
I've been a hobby blacksmith for a decade. I don't know how many barrels of charcoal I've made from scrap wood and fallen limbs, but I always reasoned I spent half my "blacksmithing time" just making charcoal for my homemade forge. It's a lot of work, and after so many years, having a propane forge is a dream. I shopped around for one, read tons of reviews, and settled for this one. While gas forges go through propane relatively fast, I feel that the cost to labor ratio is well worth it. It doesn't disappoint. It was easy to throw together, is very well made with tight fittings, the coating was easy to apply. Heavy gauge steel, good welds. It has a decent little "hotspot" large enough to heat roughly 4 inches of metal at a time.

Great starter forge
Very simple to assemble and use, excellent heat distribution, good quick heat. Went through a 25lb propane tank in about 10 hours from completely full. Plenty of burner for forge-welding, knife making and simple blacksmithing projects. The legs are both too short and too long, so any kind of rest for work pieces must be purpose built to this forge but that's not really hard when you have a forge to use. Handle stays reasonably cool during operation so i was able to pick it up and move it barehanded about 10 minutes after turning off the burner to pack my tools up.

Amazing little forge,it works much better than expected
I bought this forge to heat treat knives that I make. I received the forge about nine days earlier than expected. I immediately assembled the forge and added the refractory cement. 24 hours later the cement was dry,so I test fired the forge. This little forge gets hot right now. 3 hours later,I have already finished heat treating 3 new knives. This forge way exceeded my expectations. The quality of the forge is great and does everything I asked and more. Very happy with this forge. D045

Excellent product
Love this forge. I got it for my son (12) and myself to make some knifes. 1st off, the quality of the construction is amazing. It is well built and looks great. 2nd, the instructions on how to get started are clear and precise. When the forge comes you need to apply a refractory coating that they provide with the purchase. There is a bit of a learning curve to getting it right, but it’s pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Overall, I would highly recommend using this product and Hell’s Forge. One small issue I had was the time it took to receive the order. It took almost 3 weeks. But it was in the middle of Corona lockdown.

Works great, but needs more coating to be included.
Worked great after following the very detailed and easy to understand instructions. Perfect for heat treating the knives I plan on making, it gets up to temp fast, waaay better then fire bricks and a torch I was using. However, the coating had leaked all over the packaging, and didn’t end up being enough to cover the inside of the forge. I had to buy more. Also, I was a little bit concerned there wasn’t much in the way of warnings about the inhalation of particulates when you use this thing…I heard this is some nasty stuff… so use a respirator! Glad I bought the small version, I live in a condo with a very small shop so this is perfect for me.

Great little forge
My son and I are starting to learn forging and this forge is certainly a good choice. There is a little assembly but pretty easy and it certainly gets the metal up to a glowing red pretty quick (depending on thickness of metal of course). We have it hooked to a 5 gallon propane tank (kind you use for gas grills) and I was surprised at how long a full tank lasts. I haven't kept exact track but rough estimate is that we are getting 15-20 hours of use out of said tank so unless you are doing this for a living, the forge will get you through a few weekends.

It will heat!
I'm really impressed with this forge. I was using a weed burner and a bunch of fire bricks and this little forge outperforms it in every way. With my homemade rig, I could get steel to a dull yellow and I could get only about 2-3 sessions from one 20lbs propane tank. This Hells Forge single burner gets stuff HOT and does it in a short time period. As such I get much more from a 20lbs tank. I have gone through one tank so far and have made a knife, tomahawk, tongs, a feather hook, and a pair of hooks for my shop light before running out of fuel. The customer service is excellent too. I had a small leak where the burner tip is screwed on. They got right back to me and sent me a zip lock baggie with a glob rector seal to correct it. They do not send you any rigidizer to put on the ceramic wool before you apply the refractory cement, but if you mix it to a "sour cream" consistency, you shouldn't pull any of the wool apart. I did 2/3 of the cement the first day and once it set up, I placed the whole thing on my wood stove to dry thoroughly before applying the last 3rd of the cement to get areas i missed the first time. It seemed to work well. Dont freak out if you see cracks after you fire it up and it cures. It's normal. Over all I cannot recommend this forge enough! You will not regret it. Get a few extra fire bricks from your local tractor supply store (they keep them in the storeroom in the off season but they still have them). This way you can close off the back and break one in half to work as doors to keep heat in.

Great deal
This is a great forge for the beginner blacksmith. It’s small, portable, gets to heat fast, and also is very economical on propane. I have built two forges with fire brick and this forge works much better. I put a coat of sairset over the ceramic wool on the suggestion of a friend after I jabbed a fire poker into the insulation and damaged it and it still heats up incredibly fast.
