Excellent Smart TV, great quality and price
The Hisense Smart Fire TV 40" exceeded my expectations. The picture quality is clear with vibrant colors, the Fire TV system is fast and easy to use, and having Alexa built-in makes everything more convenient. The design is modern and sleek. The sound is good for everyday use, but with a soundbar it gets even better. Overall, a great purchase with excellent value for money. Highly recommended

Great picture, incredible value
Very good TV with all the basic bells and whistles. Good picture, easy controls and remote. Built in Fire TV giving you Prime video, app streaming, Amazon music, voice control, etc. Does not have Bluetooth, but you can add an adapter. The sound is excellent, as well.

Good value
Great TV at a low price. I always buy Samsung but this one is as good and also has free channels. Clear picture and good sound. Great for my bedroom

A good TV
I read the many negative reviews on this Smart TV but bought it anyway as I have a 65 inch Hisense which works great. First off, all of the main apps are available: Disney, Hulu, ESPN, Max, MGM, Peacock and Prime. They were easy to load and log into. I am running off WiFi and was a bit disappointed at no LAN input. I am well away from a major city and also hooked up my outdoor antenna. That worked just fine and I have more over the air channels than ever. The picture and the sound are good. The remote is standard for a Fire TV and audio commands are effective. I am used to the Fire TV aspect of this and find it easy to navigate. The on sale price for the TV ($140) is quite a deal for a 40 inch set.All in all I am pleased. It doesn’t have all of the bells and whistles of my 65 inch Hisense, but that’s not what this set is about. It is fine for a small room and a great value for the money.

Great TV
Overall a very good tv. I was having an issue where the audio would be very quiet until I adjusted a few settings, then it would snap back to being the normal volume it should. For example, I would turn the tv off at a volume of 11. The next day, I would turn it on (and it was still at 11) but I could barely hear it until I would just adjust settings, after which it would go back to normal. But, I haven't had this issue in a while so an update must've fixed it. The picture quality is great and it responds well to inputs with no lag.

Pleased with the purchase
Thanks to Amazing customer service my TV is working great! I had a rough time getting it to function, but after speaking with customer service the issue was easily fixed on my end. I had a Wi-Fi issue. The picture is good, the sound is good. It has a quick processing speed.

READ MY REVIEW
NOTE: Beyond the review I submitted below, I have to take one star off for two reasons. 1. It seems like the sound drops off if you let the TV go to sleep then wake it back up later. To get the sound back you just have to go into the side menu, select Sound, then change your sound setting and it comes right back. 2. I can see a bit of a white hot spot along the top edge on the right side of the screen. Not terrible, but noticeable when watching widescreen movies. I would return/exchange this TV but I can't get another in where I live without a hassle so just going to live with these two issues until I move out or sell it to someone else..... I guess in the end I have to give this TV 4 stars. I wish now I would have bought a Roku TV instead. Seems that if you buy a Fire TV it expects to always be connected to the internet and streaming but where I'm at right now I can't. Typical Amazon remote, which I guess I don't have a lot of complaints about. Very light weight. Menus are pretty intuitive. One thing I wish it had that a Roku TV has is the "resume" feature when you're watching movies or TV from a data stick. I miss that from other TVs. Picture quality is excellent. USB port is labeled "2.0" but it is compatible with 3.0 sticks. You just have to back out to the Main Menu and go back in. TV Favorites function is also a bit weak over the Roku TV. We have a secured wifi here I can't access and the minute I tried to connect the TV would bug me every 6 minutes like clockwork trying to connect interrupting what I was watching. There's no "forget" function in the wifi, so you have to go in again and "cancel" or "back out" of the selection to try to get the TV to stop bugging you. I can't argue for the price and free shipping, especially since this TV is 1080p versus 720p but not sure if I would even notice the difference. Given the option, go with the Roku. But based on price, this is still a very good TV.
