5 PCS Aluminium Heatsink Heat Sink Module Cooler Fin 100x25x10mm Silver Tone

My RTL-SDR dongle would get hot to the touch simply running directly plugged into usb port with air exposure. Part of my project included mounting it along with several other accessories inside a small aluminum enclosure. Noting that the SDR runs hot, I purchased these heat sinks to cool the SDR. I made some 90 degree brackets from thinner aluminum flat bar from the big box home repair store and mounted them so as to keep the dongle in firm contact with this heat sink, as well as some thermal paste (not a lot!), to keep things cool.It was a success, this single heat sink, mounted to the aluminum enclosure, keeps the SDR cool to the touch after hours of operation. Plus I have 4 left!.Recommended for cooling of SDR dongles.

it was my fault but I should have paid attention closer to the size they were smaller than what I actually wanted but still perfect for some small jobs

very easy to use. i put it in my mbp15, the size is just right when i put between screen and touch bar.

Good price for the five pieces. I'm using two; cut down, for sinks on the Lepai 2020TI. Then cut the power cord and add a 20v spare laptop battery. Lepai unit is excellent out of the box if you have extra book shelf speakers.
