Garage Door Track for 7' High Door.

The part arrived quickly was a perfect fit and installed in minutes.

Had a Wayne Dalton garage door with a damaged vertical track. This installed with a slight modification to my top mount bracket. This has bolts that fasten it to the top wall bracket. WD has 90 degree twist lock. After removing the old track, I used a "C" clamp to flatten the raised tabs then further flattened them with a hammer and a piece of heavy bar stock for back up. Clamped the new track in place and drilled new holes in my top wall bracket to match the track. Bolted up the track loosely then manually lowered the door to make sure it didn't bind. Adjusted mount brackets and tightened everything. Raised the door by hand while checking operation. Then ran the door using the opener. All good. This came with 2 wall brackets and bolts with nuts. Pretty easy install overall if you have a drill/ bits.

I purchased this to replace a one that was rusting through on the bottom. It was a perfect match for the one I was replacing and it was super simple to do myself. All I need you was a wrench to undo the old one and put the new one in place. This one actually seems a little thicker and sturdier than the one I removed. I received it only a few days after I ordered it. It's all my problem.

This was a replacement track so had to match existing track system (the old track bent when a cable came loose.) Overall 5 stars. Sturdy metal and good packaging. This track was about an inch shorter than the old track and the mounting brackets/angles were smaller. A piece of quarter-inch plywood behind the smaller bracket was needed and the bottom roller bracket had to be raised an inch so the roller was completely inside the replacement track. Two easy, minor adjustments to a now repaired, fully-functional replacement track.
