I’m really impressed with the SMALLRIG Clamp and articulating magic arm (KBUM2732B). The build quality is outstanding — all metal, very solid, and feels like professional gear. Once tightened, it holds my monitor and LED light firmly in place with zero sag or slipping. The clamp grips securely to desks, tripods, and light stands, and the adjustable friction arm gives tons of flexibility to position gear exactly where I need it. The 1/4” and 3/8” thread options are a huge plus and make it compatible with pretty much everything in my setup. Setup is quick, adjustments are smooth, and locking everything down is rock solid. For the price, this is easily one of the best accessories I’ve added to my camera rig. Highly recommend for anyone doing video, streaming, photography, or content creation. I love the build quality, versatility, and reliability of the SmallRig items that I've bought over the last few years. I now own quite a few different clamps, arms, cages, adapters, etc., and they have all been excellent. This super clamp and Magic arm combination is no exception. I've bought this exact set several times, both together and separately, for a variety of uses. It's easy to position and once securely in place, I know it will not budge. I trust it with my most valued gear for exactly this reason. Despite what some reviews suggest, when tightened and mounted properly, this arm and super clamp combo absolutely can hold digital cameras with interchangeable lenses securely in place. This is true even when that gear is suspended in a top-down configuration for overhead photography. I use this Magic arm and clamp to hold a Canon EOS R mirrorless digital camera above my illustration desk (see attached photo) for overhead photography, video, and live streaming. It works brilliantly, even with larger, heavier lenses. I have used this with a fairly heavy Nikon 105mm Micro D lens mounted to the EOS R via a Nikon-to-Canon lens adapter with zero issues. I also used two of the super clamps found in this set to mount two ring lights above my illustration desk and it holds them securely in place, although I purchased those as a set separately (also here on Amazon). This arm/clamp can also be used for other purposes than photography and video. I recently upgraded my pen tablet display monitor and affixed it to a VESA arm on the left side of my desk. The setup was great, but I quickly realized that I didn't have a good place to set up the remote that I use to trigger shortcut keys in most of the creative software I use. There was just no place to put it to the left of, or below, the display. I then got the idea to use this arm and clamp to mount my Huion Mini Keydial remote to my desk and place it in front of my pen tablet display. I used a large phone holder on a mini ball-head adapter, attached to the Magic arm to set up the remote in front of my display (see attached photo). I really liked this setup, but the initial position wasn't quite right for me. I later repositioned the arm (very easy to do) a little below the display and now it's perfect! I can rest my hand on the remote, trigger keys continuously, put a fair bit of weight on the remote, and it does not budge! Brilliant. I really like gadgets that serve a lot of different purposes and this set does just that. I will likely pick up a few more of them to use for other purposes, such as repositioning my boom mic and extending the reach of the desk-mounted arm that it's currently attached to, and using one to attach the mic to a tripod while shooting photos or filming video on location. I really don't think I could have too many of these on hand. There's always some unexpected problem that these things can solve. I love them!

I own like 5 of these and they are amazing from putting my camera on or just a light, it is very versatile. I will say sometimes the locking mechanism doesn’t hold but I just have to adjust it. The grip is good as well. It holds the weight of everything well. I love this product and I love the brand! Offering great gear for affordable prices.

Great action cam holder. I use it on my boat, it's soild. So far so good. There's a bit of rust, but that's gonna happen out on the ocean. The twist knobs are ok, the arms are ok too. The clamp mount seems to need attention after some wave pounding, but it doesn't loosen up much. Time will tell about the durability of it, but so far 4+ stars.

I've been looking around for an alternative to mount my kick drum mic instead of using a stand or hoop clip. This is a good option for me. It worked so well that I bought 3 more to mount my tom mics. These are well built, easy to manipulate into the needed position, and have a good weight to them. They easily support the weight of my mics and do not move once clamped down. I was concerned about introducing noise into my sound when using these, but looking on EQ RTA I don't find that the case. It appears the rubber lining on the clamp is also a sufficient shock mount for my application. If used for mics, you'll need to purchase a 1/4 Female to 5/8 Male Screw Adapter to attach the microphone.

Great product it was easy to set up and secure. I used it for an action camera on a backboard and it held even with the shots. Once I had my position locked in it seemed to be very stable. I would recommend this for a small camera (action camera) where you need to have something stable and reliable. I have not tried this with a microphone or with my gimbal but it should work just fine there too.

I bought this to mount my phone on to my electronic drum set. The clamp is big enough to mount on the larger poles of the rack itself, it also mounts well to cymbal stands. If you tighten it properly the thing does not move, seems really strong and I bet I could pull the entire set with it. I attached the magnetic ring to my phone's case and it worked like a charm. Unlike most other phone mounts, you don't need 2 hands to pry open the part that holds your phone, which was my main attraction, being able to mount and dismount the phone itself quickly and easily. The magnetic hold is strong. 5\5 would buy again
