I have used Torras's magsafe-capable phone cases for Pixel's 6,7,8 & now 9, specifically P9 Pro XL. Case fit has been perfect in for each phone. The magsafe magnet is adequately strong to make good connection to an Apple MagSafe charging ring, so wireless charging may proceed without interruption. I tried a few other MS-capable cases where the the case material was too thick by perhaps only a millimeter, thus compromising the wireless induction field which causes the phone's battery to recharge. These cases appear to function properly at first, but charging would occur only intermittently. These tricky cases take some time for one to deduce the defect, which does not happen with Torras. Torras magsafe cases work! I really like the high visibility buttons included with Torras case. I used the yellow buttons on all my Pixels to make it easier to see in low light. The colored buttons work the same as the standard black ones, and these all perform without compromising the phone's button function. I am surprised that more case brands have not yet adopted this low-cost / high-utility bonus feature. The Torras case appears to provide protection for the inevitable accidental phone drop. The Pixel 9 Pro XL is a large heavy phone, which makes the job of a protective case more challenging. I have dropped this phone 3-5 times now in the past 10 months, and (hoping this does not jinx me) phone is still mint condition. Screen, camera lens, everything undamaged & like new. I also later purchased a very similar Torras magsafe case for a Galaxy S25+. For whatever reason, Torras' newer cases appear to be significantly slicker in the hand. I believe Torras and other phone case makers have adopted a new slippery polymer formula which supposedly reduces fingerprints & dirt, at the cost of increasing the likelihood you will drop your phone. So far so good! The case looks lovely. It fits snug and the slim fit/rounded corners preserve the beautiful shape of the phone. The translucent back shows the "G" in the right light and is classy. I thought the interchangeable buttons were a nice touch, but I was worried there would be gaps-there are none, they too fit snug, and seal very well. I am confident in the air-cushioning structure for drop protection, it seems like it went through a lot of testing and the protection would be the some of the best. I appreciate the slight raises around the camera and screen that protect the glass without being significant. I also love that it has an oleophobic coating to repel fingerprint smudges. Overall I am very satisfied and look forward to a long time using it with my new phone.

[I bought 3 cases: this Torras, Spigen rugged armor, and Ringke onyx. All are good cases and if I hadn't done a side by side I'd probably be happy with any.] The Torras had the most protective feeling bevel around the screen. [It was a tiny bit better than the Spigen, I'd be fine with either. The Ringke's was a bit lower and worrisome, except in the corners and the upper third.] I liked that the Torras' camera bump extended to the sides like the older pixels, but there's a dip in the middle that seems worrisome. The high corners of the camera bump are nice though, and I don't see the dip being a problem except in specific/unlikely situations. There's a big air gap around the camera that will collect dust and bigger debris, but should be protective from a side bump. [The Spigen's seems a little more protective as it seems just as high and doesn't have the dip in the middle, but has an annoying big air gap as well. The Ringke's is the best as it has a higher bevel, a covered air gap, and more covered parts.] The Torras had the thickest and firmest backing. It also had a good protective air gap between it and the back of the phone, as well as nice air gaps all along the sides and corners of the phone. I feel like I'd trust it's impact rating. [The other two have much thinner backs that seem far less protective, but the Spigen also has an acceptable amount of air gaps on the corners and back/sides that are filled with softer material, so it's a tie in my opinion. The Ringke only has air gaps in the corners, none on the back or sides, and it seems the least protective.] All have a nice feel in hand and are grippy enough. The Torras uses a softer smoother feeling rubber for the sides and the other two are harder, but slightly more secure feeling. All the magsafe magnets were very strong. [The Ringke's was very slightly weaker, but still had no problem on bumpy roads or from me bumping it.] Oily fingerprints show up way more on the Torras, but it would be the best for stickers. [The matte and slightly bumpy backs of the other two don't end up as grimy. Stickers would probably work well on both, but the Spigen has the least space.] All the buttons are easy to press, but I really like the colorful replaceable buttons on the Torras, and they have less gaps for dust to get in. All were easy to install the phone into, but felt secure enough that it wouldn't come out on its own. An ideal case would have the build of the Torras, but the material of the Spigen and the camera protection of the Ringke. It was really hard to decide between the Spigen and the Torras. I kept the Spigen because it was a better value at the time.
