Useless in concrete.
Used to anchor my gazebo to a concrete pad. Everyone of them stripped or the head broke off. Was not able to use one of them successfully following the instructions given for bit/hole size etc.

Super Strong Masonry Anchor, Threads Nicely.
The product is a bit pricey, but it's worth it for the time saving. Screw type anchors use the smallest possible hole for a given strength. I used them to mount a monitor bracket on a masonry block wall. I found a 3/8" socket useful to drive them in the holes. These have a tearout strength of near 3,000 pounds. 1/4 tearout is considered safe working load. So, that leaves only 750 lbs. That's not a lot, but it's better by far than any other anchor its size, 5/16". It requires a 1/4" hole to thread properly. If you hit a big piece of aggegate (stone), I back it out just a bit, so the the threads will cut in twice, and the anchor head won't twist of by torsion.A hammer drill or rotary hammer is a must. If that's a problem, buy one. It will take an hour to drill the hole deep enough with a simple rotary drill. Masonry drill bit is also a must. HSS bots will dull instantaneously, beyond repair. I like stuff solid, so I go a bit overboard on anchors. The actual diameter of the shaft, without the threads, is about 1/4", in case the reader is doing shear calculations. It's just a really good anchor. I'm perfectly satisfied! And these are the best bits I've ever seen: https://www.amazon.com/Masonry-CONCRETE-CINDERBLOCK-Industrial-Strength/dp/B07DQRDPT7/ref=mp_s_a_1_2_sspa?crid=6WVNZ582ROU6&dchild=1&keywords=masonry+drill+bit+set&qid=1635718171&sprefix=masonry+%2Caps%2C695&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyS1MxMk9BTVo4MlRQJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNTc5NDEyNEJPSk9aWEJLS1RFJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA0NTgwNzUzVjZIREJZUThBVk5OJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfcGhvbmVfc2VhcmNoX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=
