SUPER BRIGHT!
These strip lights exceeded my expectations! I bought two sets of the Daylight White 16.4 feet to use when making two small faux windows for my garage and they were PERFECT for the project. I used shadowbox frames, window film, these strip lights and outlet timers and they turned out great...in LARGE part thanks to the lights. I made/installed these over four months ago and they are on for a minimum of four hours every day (they're on timers) and they're still going strong with ZERO issues! PROS: 1. Adhesion is GREAT. I was prepared with a variety of options for keeping the strips in place once they were inside the shadowbox and didn't need to use any of them because the strips stuck and stayed stuck! 2. They are VERY bright. Brighter than I expected them to be, in fact. For this project I had planned to add a reflective surface on the back wall of the shadowbox to increase the brightness, but after installing the lights I found that to be completely unnecessary! 3. DIMMABLE! This was a happy bonus and one that turned out to be helpful. One "window" is set to go off around daybreak and is set on the lowest light output. The second goes off thirty minutes letter on the brightest setting. It has worked out well! The change in brightness from lowest to brightest is pretty subtle (see photos and video), but it's nice to have the option. 4. Price. After receiving them and seeing the quality I felt like they were appropriately priced. CONS: 1. Absolutely NO cons! Personally I wish the dimmer would go a little lower (to almost a nightlight setting), but I certainly don't consider it a drawback that it doesn't. That's just an "in a perfect world" wish. OF NOTE: 1. I did not trim these lights, I used the entire strip on both strips, so I can't speak to how well they work after being cut or how easy/not easy they are to cut. Mine are also concentrated in a very small area, so I'm sure if they're spread out (under kitchen cabinets for instance) the light would be less concentrated (less bright.) 2. The dimmer is not a slide dimmer. It is a button that will increase/decrease the brightness three times (see photos and video for reference...the first photo shows the difference between the highest and lowest settings, the video shows the lights come on set at maximum brightness, decrease to the lowest brightness and then increase to return to maximum brightness). It's not a huge difference in output, but it's still nice to have the option! BOTTOM LINE: Buy with confidence, but if you're buying these because they're dimmable have realistic expectations!

Excellent alternative to hardwired settings.
These are so awesome I bought a second pair for my bedroom closet. * Pros: * Easy to install. * Glue is very strong. Though make sure to clean intended area prior to application. * Kitchen set: Was long enough to wrap from bottom left, to above across and to all the way down on right side. I even had to cut about 5-6 inches of leftover. * Bedroom set: The entire length was used here. See the improvement reflected in uploaded pictures. Main improvement was all the way in the back which is hard to access and even sunlight cannot reach. I was fortunate that there was enough coverage for that "square" area all the way in the back which need more light. * Controller is very responsive, there are no glitches while switching between the settings. * There are five light settings from low to high, though I am not sure of the percentage increase. My pictures only show highest setting mainly because camera will make up for lost brightness. * The cord from the strip light to the connector (power supplier) is long enough to ensure proper placement for it. The AC power cord length is 58 inches. * Cons: * While making a corner: plastic clips are provided for this main purpose, but it can be a challenge for some to ensure a good corner. I only used them in the kitchen set, and THAT very corner (two in my case) cannot get flattened to the wall; it remains off the wall, but the clips ensure the rest of the straight lines remain in place. But perhaps I did not do it well. Either way it is not a bother for me as they are out of sight. Side note: I have ordered a motion sensor which is to work fine with these. I will update once I receive. Other users assisted me and said they too bought it separately and worked with their existing strip light.

Don’t hesitate on these, sticks great, easy to install, super bright!
These are great! Granted I just bought them but I was able to put them up within 5-10 minutes. I just wiped and dried the area where I wanted them and up they went, the adhesive seems sturdy, plus they barely weigh anything. I used them in a dark hall with no outlet but there is one around the corner in the kitchen, my daughter isn’t a fan of the dark so I highlighted her room as well. I only put them on one side of the hall because that is what the length allowed and also the other side has a sliding door on it and it would have been trickier. However, one side is all that was needed. They are really great so far. They do come with an alcohol pad to clean any surface to apply, they also come with extra adhesive holders for the corners of any stress area. I opted not to bend them “sideways “ and put them where they could bend naturally I was nervous to bend them the other way plus for me it wasn’t needed I just put them on the wall instead of the ceiling. This hall also had a pull down ladder so the other light I had was really inconvenient as the cord was always hanging and it would stick out from the wall and we would have to take it down every time we needed attic access. At this point I would highly recommend. If anything changes I will update otherwise assume I’m still thrilled !

Really cool way to light workbench area
Used to have fluorescents lighting my work bench and they were always bulky and kind of in the way. There is a shelf about 30" above the workbench where they were mounted. The shelves are made of paited mdf board. I cleaned them really good then wiped with alcohol but the surface still felt kind of bumpy and I was worried that the LED's wouldn't adhere good. Had them up for two weeks now in 100-110 degree heat and they are still holding good. Way brighter then the fluorescents but the coverage is much better and very white light which helps on projects. Excellent and cost effective way to light an area.

I've bought a couple led strips in the past and they were never very bright. Mind you they were multi color strips. I thought I'd give these a try for the kitchen counter. Wow, they are really bright! Exactly what I was hoping for. You can also dim them if you want. It would have been nice if they had Alexa integration, but I just plug them into a smart plug and integrate them that way. The only negative was the tape on the strip. The non-stick backing pulled it off the strip so I had to fuss about for 15 minutes trying to separate the backing from the strip tape (would have been easy if I had some fingernails to pry the two apart)... once I go them separated it was a super easy installation after that. Rare that a product deserves 5-stars, but this one does in that it does exactly what I was hoping it would do.

Purchased to line my desk topper so I wouldn't need a desk lamp. Easy to install after planning the run with masking tape to make sure I had enough to cover the area. Tape adhering well so far, only used supplied clips in corner transitions which are a little sloppy but not noticeable in my application. Quality power/dimmer switch which responds well & has a good range from dim to bright. This set comes with everything you need, not all do. Purchased a second set to line my mirror. In use for 3 weeks. Product works great but tape does need to be pressed down in spots, on occasion. I did need to reposition a couple areas when installing, that may have affected adhesion.

Can't recommend this enough. This is a steal. Never trust the adhesive on these lights though. In another review somebody mentioned that they may not have a memory for the brightness adjustment on the power switch. It must. I had the brightness adjusted to as dim as it will go, and after unplugging it multiple times for days at a time, it seems to be remembering the brightness. I have this wired for undercabinet lighting. The power switch/dimmer is located in the cabinet under the sink, and it's plugged into an outlet that's controlled by a switch on the wall. You can turn the light strips on/off with only the wall switch, and as I mentioned, once you set the brightness, it stays at that brightness. The only downside is that they take a second to turn on once it's plugged in. If you use the built in switch, they're instant. If you unplug or use a switched outlet like me, you wait about a second at maximum brightness, but if you have it turned down, it takes about 4 seconds at the darkest setting. It's a little annoying, but aside from that, the lights are fantastic.

Pros & Cons. Pros: Nicely packaged, very nice lighting effect, control seems sturdy & not cheaply made, easy to modify to lengths depending on need (soldering & 22 gauge wire or clips required), overall a very good light strip (installed 2 weeks ago) with the exception of the tape. Con: The tape lets go. I cleaned & cleaned the painted surface under the cabinets & the lights keep letting go. I'm going to cut small strips from a plastic 5 gallon pail lid, drill pilot holes & use 1/2" screws to hold the light strip up. They need some sort of mechanical fastening to keep them in place. We didn't need all the "bells & whistles" of light patterns, colors etc. We used them under the cabinets in the kitchen to eliminate shadows. For that, they do really well, if they'd stay in place. So, there's a 4/5 rating. They know the tape sucks, people have been complaining about it in Reviews for a very long time.

Installed the strip in a large shelved area the other day and have been loving the new look it's been given. The strip is a good value for it's length and the installation process was very simple. I have recently had adhesive trouble with a separate LED setup, but setting up this strip showed me how easy and hassle-free it should be. The adhesion is basically flawless, even considering that I've set up the LEDs to have very sharp turns that (obviously) cause folds in the strip. The cords are a good length, as I've found no problem with them. The remote is also a big positive, as it's a simple two-button layout for powering on and adjusting the LEDs. The brightness modes themselves work great for the way I go about using them (Leaving the strip off for the most part, then turning them on only when needed ((on the second-highest brightness setting))). Overall I have no complaints that I could make towards this product. The LEDs get very bright, but also have lower settings that fill the gaps of having other needs. Definitely a nice addition to have!
