It is less likely to cause gastric side effects than other sugar alcohols because of its unique digestion pathway. Under U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) labeling requirements, it has a caloric value of 0.2 kilocalories per gram (95% less than sugar and other carbohydrates), though nutritional labeling varies from country to country. Some countries, such as Japan and the United States, label it as zero-calorie, while European Union regulations currently label it and all other sugar alcohols at 0.24 kcal/g.

Does Monin use erythritol or sucralose to sweeten the sugar free vanilla syrup?

It uses both. Erythritol is the second ingredient (after water) and sucralose is the 5th (after erythritol, natural & artificial flavors, and cellulose gum).

What is the sweetener used for the Vanilla sugar-free product? I am looking for stevia or xylitol. . . not artificial ones.

splenda is the sweetener. If you want stevia, you want Monin's Zero Calorie syrup. It has monkfruit and stevia, not splenda

Is this keto friendly?

Don't know about keto friendly but my mother is a diabetic and using this in a milkshake in summer does not raise her glucose level. Hope that helps.
