This really is buttery. It's thick and my lips glide beautifully if I move them from side to side. There's no tackiness whatsoever. My lips part instantly. It is a high gloss, achieved effortlessly with only a small squeeze. A little goes a long way. My lips then look ready for a beauty campaign. The scent isn't overwhelming. It's best when the tube is smelt directly. When applied to the lips, I might get the occasional waft. It definitely smells of strawberry. I struggled to tell that this was tinted and honestly, I prefer it that way. There is a tint there, it's just subtle. I kissed the back of my hand and I could see the shade. The applicator has a large surface area, making it easy to apply. Finally, the gloss lasts a decent length of time. I can also drink from water bottles without much disturbance.

I am not someone who wears makeup (ever lol) but I am someone who constantly needs to wear lip balms and oils due to chronically dry lips! That said, I usually just use basic lip balms without colour in, but the tint in this one is so subtle that it's ideal for makeup users and non makeup users alike. The more you put on, the stronger the effect is, but if all you need is some hydration like myself, a small blob is plenty and lasts a good hour or so depending on how much eating/drinking/etc you get done. The tube is a generous size so I do think the price (£9.00 currently) is worth it for how much product you get.

The scent of this lip balm is sweet and reminds me of strawberry sweets, which makes applying it that little bit more enjoyable. The shade, Strawberry Shortcake, is a lovely soft pink that gives my lips a natural, healthy tint with a subtle glossy finish. It enhances the look of my lips without being over the top and feels very comfortable to wear. The texture is beautifully smooth and buttery, gliding on effortlessly and leaving my lips feeling moisturised and nourished. It’s not sticky like some glosses and has a nice weight to it that makes it feel like a proper balm rather than just a tint. It definitely helps keep my lips soft throughout the day, and I appreciate that it's formulated with shea butter, mango butter, cocoa butter and hyaluronic acid for extra hydration. The tube is compact and cute, making it ideal to carry in my handbag. The balm wears well and leaves a nice sheen, leaving lips looking plump. It’s great knowing that this product is vegan and cruelty-free too.

Lovely lip gloss. It’s not tacky and easy to apply. In terms of taste , I have the strawberry and it does have that artificial strawberry taste, it’s not too strong though and it’s gone within a couple mins if you don’t like it. Colour wise it’s very subtle and natural, which I prefer, I’m not sure how it’s buildable. As I have a natural colour it was exactly what I wanted. It stayed on my lips great. The applicator you just squeeze gently and it doesn’t apply loads which is great as means no waste. Good size tube . Would get other colours in this too. Easy to take with you when out and about too. Lid fits well and easy to find in bag.

Great product! Hydrating and glossy. An amazing summer Fridays dupe for the price and replica. However, the product has literally a 1/4 of the package quantity missing. It's a great price so can't complain too much but it's barley 3/4 full

Nourishing, glossy and super comfortable on the lips, this tinted lip balm is fantastic!I love the formula of the lip balm, it's lightweight and glossy on the lips, without being too sticky. The colour pay off is subtle, and it also has a sweet flavour, which is pleasant.The silicone tip on the lip balm makes the product very easy to apply, and it doesn't get too messy after each use like most lip balms that just have the regular plastic tip.Overall, a fabulous lip balm, and I would highly recommend it!

Since getting it for trying, I've been using it every day, few times a day.I chose Java Chip colour and I wasn't sure this will be my colour but, it is.It is because it gives a nice tint to lips, it doesn't plaster it with actual brown colour.I like it because despite having some greasee like in appearance to it, it is very very slidey not sticky and spreads on lips very well.It provides really good moisture to my lips, hydrating them very well and preventing dryness.As said, I'm very happy with itand would highly recommend it.

This e.l.f. Lip balm is a cute, affordable treat, the strawberry scent is delicious. The tinted formula gives me a natural flush and the shea butter and hyaluronic acid keep my lips soft without stickiness.
