Will get the job done, but bristles need to soften up over time - give it a couple of months.
This brush will probably last a good long while due to having synthetic bristles. However, synthetic bristles are NOWHERE near as good at lathering as a good badger brush. This thing absolutely keeps its' shape wet as if dry - no change when wet. Doesn't seem to take on enough soap to lather adequately. I will keep trying and maybe it will soften after enough time and use, but I'm not holding out much hope for that. Though it was absolutely worth the low purchase price, you still only get what you pay for. Next time I will just buy another badger hair shaving brush and tolerate the loose hairs falling out. Update: After a couple of weeks usage, the bristles have softened somewhat - but not nearly enough to even come close to a badger hair brush. I had given a mediocre review, but with the miniscule softening of the brush I am willing to upgrade my review just a bit to four stars. Second Update: After a couple of months of usage, the bristles have softened up significantly and give a thick luxurious lather. I have upgraded to five stars due to the brush's excellent quality after a 2.5 month break-in period. So, buy one and give it some time and don't immediately leave a mediocre review as I did. Seriously, this thing keeps getting better. Five stars!

Great Shaving Brush for Shaving or Washing Your Face.
Needed a new shaving brush as my old one was falling apart, shedding hair. I used to shave with a Straight Razor, hence the Shaving Brush, but these days, I use it to lather my face up for washing up, then use a wash rag to rinse off without having water run all over my neck and dripping down my chest. I prefer Brushes that use Badger Hair for the softness. These brushes seem to be as soft if not softer than Badger Hair. Granted, they don't seem to hold enough lather, but that is easily solved by using a little water and whipping it up enough so you have plenty of lather, then wipe off the excess and gather just enough to lather us before washing. These brushes appear to be nice enough that I just ordered a second brush to use as a spare

Great product
Not much to say, it gets the job done . It’s soft, affordable, and works just fine for everyday use.

Great first synthetic
I would give this 3 stars but with 1 extra due to the wonderful price. The bristles are wonderful and feel identical to a Yaqi, except the handle weighs less than Yaqi handles. That might be a positive for some. It would even be a 5 star brush if it weren't for 1 issue: After about 2 months of daily use, it has started to shed several bristles with each use. I lather pretty vigorously in small Proraso tubs so that may have contributed to this. I wouldn't let this dissuade you though, it is still a fantastic brush and a must-try at the price point.

5 star because of price.
Four star for quality. I had tried another entry level brush, the Viking brand, and was terribly disappointed in it's durability. That one was badger hair, but it kept losing hair strands, like 3 or 4 per use. Then the handle just fell off. That was after one month! I was just about to spend good money on a more reputable brand when I noticed this one and one reviewer talking about how it gets better as it gets broken in. Man was he correct. Its not as soft as the badger hair, and doesn't get as good of foam...but its still foams well and gets softer as you use it. But after 6 months of use, I've lost maybe one strand, but I honestly can't recall if it did or not. I'm very satisfied with this purchase and even tho the badger hair seems to be better suited for this, the durability and quality of this synthetic hair combined with the price easily gets five stars from me.

Easy to use. Nicely made.
Used it once and found it did a good job. Used a shaving gel that foamed up just as it does using fingers. I’m impressed as one can be about a brush with regards to thickness and keeping its shape. Was ok to clean. I feel the price made it a value product.

Good Brush
My very first shave brush. Feels nice and comfortable to hold. Bristles are soft but strong holding up against rigorous lathering. Great price too.

Best shave lather brush out there!
Perfect. I’ve bought other brands and the bristles fall out after a few uses. The best lather and not too abrasive. Handle is ergonomic and has not chipped or flaked off.

Very good and grace good lather up with a cream. Better than badgers as no hair loss. Great price, nice size and easy to use. Not overly heavy either. Nice soft but firm bristles means a good foam. Easy to use with a decent shaving bowl.

This is my first shave brush as I am new to traditional wet shaving so I'm no expert bit what I can say is this: - Its very cheap compared to some other brushes. - Has not fallen apart and its very well made and feels great in the hand. - Its very soft, which feels great on the skin, but lathering up on the face takes a little while because the bristles don't stay together or distribute evenly when pressing the brush against your skin, which I believe is called breaking the back of the brush. - Lathers shave soap direct from a bowl very well (can't comment on lathering in a dish as I don't do that). - Why isn't a Simpson T5 this cheap! LOL. Overall I am very happy and impressed with this brush, and for the price, it's a must buy for the saver on a budget (which is me and why I chose this brush).
