Small, powerful, and clear sound.
The media could not be loaded. I have been looking for a speaker that is loud, lightweight, and small. This speaker is all of those things and more. I bought this on a whim, and I'm so glad I did. This speaker is amazing! I haven't had one issue with it since I got it. I use it every day, because it is so portable and easy to use.The first and most important thing is the sound. It's crystal clear. The loudest volume is louder than anything I'd ever need. I normally keep the speaker on just a fourth (25) volume, and that is plenty. It is perfect to listen to movies or music on. I have adopted using this as my main speaker on my computer because it is that good. And whenever I want to chill outside on my patio or listen to music with friends at a get together, I bust this out. It's very lightweight and portable, so it's perfect for every situation. However, the most surprising thing I use this for is to make and receive calls. When I got this speaker, I didn't think that I would use this feature that much, but it's actually become one of the things I use it for the most! I love to talk to people on speaker phone since it allows me to be more productive, but my phone speaker is not very loud and I can never be far from the phone. This little speaker changed that. I can be all the way across a room and still hear the person who is speaking to me and they can hear me. Most of the time, people don't even realize I have them on speaker while I'm using it!It's also very easy to connect to. It's takes about two seconds for the bluetooth to pair. It's also easy to disconnect from one device and pair to the other - I regularly switch from my computer to my phone while using it and it's not an issue. This speaker can literally do anything you need it to. I highly recommend it. If you are thinking about getting a bluetooth speaker, look no further. Hopefully, you will be as happy as me when you get it. I think it's a steal for the price.

update Bad speakers AGAIN
This is my second one, i had to return the first because it had problems reading the card, this new one works fine sounds good and loud will update.UPDATE 1/23/19I wanted this speaker to work so bad because i love its design! BUT i had to return THE SECOND ONE TOO, it did not hold the charge, i left it 12 hrs charging and it only lasted about 30 mim playing after it started signaling that battery was low, I recharged it for 12 hrs more, left it without use 1 day, and it wouln't even turn on!! chatted with amazon tech who told me this was ANOTHER defective unit, so its going back, its a shame because I really liked the BASSPAL speakers....sad....

Rock & Roll Iffy
This little baby rocks and when I say rocks I mean that it plays my rock music great. Megadeth, Hendrix, CCR and others sound really good. I have been using the micro-sd card only so I can’t comment on the Bluetooth. However I noticed that nobody really talked about the card reader anyways. It played mp3, wav and m4a formats flawlessly. I would like to see a shuffle function even though I didn’t need it at the time. I live way out in the country so the radio is not an option for me and this worked better than expected. No buyers remorse from me....lol.Edited 1-17-2019I let the speakers set for a few days and the battery was dead, so I just figured that it needed to charge. It would take forever to charge and the battery would not last. Now it won’t even charge. I wish there was a way that you could just change out the battery but no luck.Edited 1-19-2019 I’ve edited this to 4 stars because this last time it kept a charge and is working now. Is this something I’m doing wrong? I do not know....

Super Sound for the Price.
I work in company vehicles all day. We are provided with speakers that suck. I am in a different car each day and sometimes had trouble connecting to the provided speaker with my phone. I originally bought this only to be able to connect easily. It does connect quite easy to my Pixel 2. Several co workers have liked the sound, though it is not extra ordinary, just better than the company provided Anker speakers. It does have nice base. One nuisance is the Jumps in volume are not subtle. Let's say you want it a little louder, so you give the speaker volume button one click. Now it is too loud. To get the happy medium you must fine tune with the phones volume. I wish the clicks were gentler. Also, there is no way to control the tracks or skip ahead on this unit. Only off/on, Pause, and volume up/down. A few co workers also have speakers, but this one sounds better than those with similar prices. I have heard better but you have to pay twice as much and they did not sound twice as good. Battery life is also good. Good luck on your hunt.

Impressive!
I was delighted with the quality of sound for such a small, lightweight speaker. The battery life is great. There's not an indicator to tell how much battery life is left, so I just always recharge after using, but I've had it play music for 8 straight hours one time and it could've kept on going, I'm sure. I have a Mac and bought two of these speakers. Using the "Multi-Output Device" feature in the sound settings, I could aggregate the speakers on my laptop and both portable speakers. I plug my laptop in one room and play the music from there and set up the speakers in other rooms in the house (running on battery power) and can have music throughout the house for events. The sound quality is great at both quiet and louder volumes and the music is perfectly synced--no time delays.

Coworker had one and like it so I bought one too
BassPal is it new or something? I walk buy a co worker cubical at work and he was bumping music on his break. I was wow that pretty nice and clear sounds. He told me it worth it for the money and he also ride his bike to work so he has it on Amy he side pocket of his backpack. I like it so much I just had to go get one too. It not as expensive as a pill or JBL but it pretty pound and crisp sound. There no lanyard or anything to clip it to but I work fine I’m the side pocket of a backpack it come with an aux cord and charger and I normally link it to my Bluetooth.
