I bought this for a small bio filter for a 5 gallon tank. I figured anything rated up to 15 gallons would be enough.I was wrong. It's a bit of a bummer. This isn't moving the water at all. Just making a handful of sad bubbles.

Worked well until it died. Only lasted 6 months.

I was very excited to find an air pump that is small, quiet, and hopefully discreet because it can hang on the back of my fish tank. The only downside that I’ve discovered so far is that the cord is shorter than I would like, and the plastic clip doesn’t fit over the edge of my standard glass tank. If I had a rimless tank that didn’t have the black ridge around the top I think it would fit fine, but I just have a standard Glass tank with the black top and black around the bottom and the clip doesn’t do what it’s supposed to that part is pretty disappointing. I wish they would include two different clips to be sure that it would fit on multiple tanks.

We got a male Betta and a female Betta. Wow, they are pretty. We got the pump for our own peace of mind and for the health of the fish. We have fish bowls.Within the first two weeks, the male had chewed off a lot of the female's bottom fin. So we adapted a large clear vase into a second fish bowl for her. We followed up by buying a splitter for the bubble pump. It works fine. You can see that they are getting plenty of oxygen restored to their marine medium.She came out the winner with a more complicated "castle" to swim through and her own set of decorations. She loves to snap at the bubbles, whether for an oxygen boost or as play, who knows?I'm just surprised how responsive both of them are when we enter after work or waking up in the morning. It's fun and the pump is an essential part of it. Highly recommend.I don't hear it. I'm pretty sure that I could, if I listened for it, but in everyday life, I do not. This is true after we returned our first aquarium exactly because it was too noisy. Our apartment is on the 4th floor with no neighbors on either side nor above, so it's really quiet except for normal traffic noise. We would not be able to tolerate a noisy device on the bar between the kitchen and the dining room. It's where we spend most of our time. We love to linger at the dining table for a quiet conversation after dinner or a weekend breakfast. We do not hear the pump.

Works as intended. Makes some noise rattling against the glass because it's touching the glass but i put a piece of folded paper in between the device and the glass and it eliminated the noise.

The media could not be loaded.  I’m very happy with this oxygen pump! For its size it’s very strong. I have a betta fish, mind you they don’t like a lot of disturbance to the water. Since this pump is very strong at first i thought it was going to be an issue since my tank is small and it would bother my betta since the water current was too strong. This pump does not have adjustable pressure, so what i did to minimize the water bubble pressure was took a small thumb tac (you can also use a safety pin) and pressed very small fine holes into the water tube. I made the holes closest to the water pump so the tube with holes is not inside the water ! I made as many hole to the tube until i thought the water pressure was slowed down enough for my fish! For anyone with a betta i hope you do the same ! I’m very happy with my buy and i don’t normally write reviews. Only when i think it’s deserved.FYI my betta fish loves his home and has already made a huge bubble nest after just bringing him from the fish store 3 days ago!

I got this for keeping a bucket of clams or oysters oxygenated while they spit out sand, and wait to be eaten.I was surprised at how little air it output. Especially since airstones do so much better at bubbles in saltwater than fresh. But hey, I just wanted a little air for a bucket, so it is good for me.I would not expect to use this for more than two gallons of aquarium.Revision Jan, '23Add stars, there are not enough to add.I live on the coast and use this for my oyster/clam bucket. During that last 200year tide this thing floated off inside a storage bench. I found the bench and contents strew over the high tide line a couple hundred yards away. Everything soaked thru. I tossed it someplace dry figuring I would give it a try before tossing it. After all, the thing warns not to let it get wet or it will fail.Guess what, works fine.******* Seven stars.

Quiet, works well, and sleek looking! Got one for all of my tanks.
