I have been trying get my backyard into shape for years. Tried every grass from the big box stores and never a single positive result. However I seeded with this grass and had visible sprouts inside of a week - three weeks later I have an actual lawn for the first time ever. I attached a photo - I wish i had a ‘before’ photo but I failed so many times before I didn’t even bother taking a pic :) there was nothing but dirt in that spot 3 weeks ago.

Not a single seed sprouted. Followed the instructions. Requires tilling and top soi. A lot of work. Not suitable for just sowing in a raked field environment.
