My XL came with a black, lightly padded insole that has material around the heel with a self stick backing. what is if for? Nothing in instructions

It is the toe cover. It goes inside once you have the shoe together.like the tongue in a shoe

Yes, you can take out as many of the 'honeycombs' as you need to, to relieve pressure points. The actual size of the insole is made to (and fits perfectly) in the Velcro shoe/boot. If you're trying to get these for your personal shoes, you CAN trim them, but their definitely not meant for that.

Will the x-large fit my 15 eee foot ? i need to know before i order it..

This insole fits your darco shoe, not your foot. If you have XL Darco shoe, it will fit it. Your foot is a different story altogether.

Is this for a mens size 13 boot or Hospital shoe ?

Fits my Ladies Large Brace Direct Post-Op shoes perfectly!

Unfortunately, I live on concrete floors. My Brace Direct Post Op shoes were not quite soft enough, so I added an insole which helped tremendously; however, it had the shape of a regular shoe, not a post op shoe. I bought the Darco PegAssist insole, hoping it would fit and it does, perfectly. My Brace Direct shoes are size: Ladies Large and my Darco PegAssist insoles (I just purchased a second one) are size: Medium. When I receive my second Darco insole, I will place them on top of the existing Brace Direct insoles for a fantastic cushioning effect. I normally wear a size 8 in a regular shoe and 9 1/2 in a sports shoe. Could not be happier with my purchases! I'm having problems with both feet, so because I am wearing a pair of each, I don't have to worry about a difference in height between my feet.

Great for healing. The added strip on bottom helps keep its form. Keep I covered with a sock to keep it cleaner.

Works great

This insole was great. Dr did the fitting, a good thing to know is circle on the foot the areas and then press the insole to the foot the same way it will be worn to mark it correctly prior to popping out the pegs. Worked great at reducing pressure to my dad's wound and he would wear it when he wouldn't wear the big boot

Horrible insert for surgical shoe

This insert was absolute garbage!!! It didn't even last 2 weeks before the pegs were crushed, deformed, and feel out. Also the side of the insile ripped apart and now the insert is completely unusable. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Uhh? It’s ok.

I’m not really a big fan of this thing. But ya pretty uncomfortable and a pain in the ___ to use. It’s a great idea but I don’t think it worked for me.

This product saved my foot!!!

I absolutely loved this peoduct!!! i have diabetic ulcers which turned to severe open wounds, I was completely ready to give up and just go ahead and have the below the knee amputation my dr suggested this products. i was willing to try and do anything .The process was very easy and within. Weeks my wounds began to bea!! thank you so much
